Good option
Gets the job done, connection is a little tight, but it works! Used it for VRC with Amethyst tracking and I had no issues.

It's works on my Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Haven't tested it with Linux nor Mac.

It works, my kinect didn't
Works like oem. I used it to power a connect v1 to try to use for 3d scanning and 3d printing. Adapter worked fine, the kinect not so much lol

no power = no worky (DOA)
The power adapter did not provide sufficient power for the kinect to initialize, leaving it with a blinking green light on the front, as it still got 5V from the USB (but the kinect needs 12V). The adapter works in theory (as the kinect showed up in Device Manager on Win10), but in practice, no power equals no worky. I knew better than to buy kinect adapters on amazon, but I mean, I saved $3. Buy these used and make sure the seller tested it (or test it yourself) before buying. "New" ones almost never work, sorry. TLDR: Insufficient power, DOA

Original Xbox 360 Kinect adapter
We got our son an original (retro) Xbox 360 for Christmas, and I ordered a used Kinect device to go with it. We were disappointed to realize that we needed an adapter in order to connect the Kinect. This adapter was very affordable, was delivered quickly, and we were able to use his Kinect just fine.

Good Adapter
Although I had issues getting my Kinect to work with software on windows, this adapter supplied power and is a good replacement for the original power adapter. Decent price, no issues.
