is the handle robust enough to padlock to something else. I need a cheap filing cabinet but one which could not be carried off by a burglar

I found the actual lock w isn’t very robust. Sometimes it will hold if I pick up the box but most times it doesn’t. I don’t think the handle would hold well, but I haven’t tried that.

How many files does it hold

If not too big you might be able to get 12 or more in. I have 14 in mine but files are very thin.
