Conveen Optima PSX Silicone Standard Type Male External Catheter 28 mm 30 per Box

We tried three different brands before finding these. Easy to apply , stay in place and leaks less than other styles/brands that we have tried. We are repeat buyers now!

At first these were hard to remove but think I got toughened up some and they work fine now. I use mostly at night but sometimes daytime too with a leg bag. Amazing how much comes out at night. What a great day when you wake up rested and dry. Almost no diapers or pull-ups.

Based on this or soaked diapers, I pick this. Here are something’s I have learned. Size matters. I bought several sizes before I decided this size was best. Your thing has to be clean and dry in order to put it on. I dry it with a dry cloth, wipe it down with alcohol and then dry again. To apply, I press it on then roll it down over the crown. Then grabbing the tip of my thing, I pull using the assist strip. Remove the assist strip and then massage this making sure to have it stick on. Attaching to the drain tube is another topic. Following this technique I have not had it come off. Also I have found the standard version to be better than the short version. But that may just be me. I have been circumcised. I do not know how this would work on those not.

I'm reviewing this purchase even though I never received my Amazon purchase (TWICE the delivery driver gave it to the wrong address and took pictures of the neighbor purchase once against my door as verification) they've never been seen again so I had to buy from a different distributor. This is my size or as close to it as described by the manufacturer. They do very very well. Until they don't. Occasionally, it just... Slips it's grip and then I have to go for the emergency pair of pants in the trunk. Perhaps my skin is too oily that day, or, perhaps the urge is too much flow, but when it doesn't work, it's as effective at managing incontinence as nothing at all, perhaps worse because it's got a nice big ballooning spot to make sure that when it springs a leak, it's a small explosion in your underwear. So I guess as a method of managing incontinence, yes it's discrete and convenient but not without it's risks.

I have tried tour Coloplast Freedom condos and they were disaster. Very hard to put on and didn't always stay. This brand, with a pull tab, is so much easier and if anything was hard to remove....prefer that problem then worrying about it slipping off.

These work well for limited usage of hand control. I managed to get the VA in Temple, TX. to add these to their formulary for this purpose. Thank you for this product!
