My family absolutely loves this game. We’re the kind of family that usually ends up arguing over Monopoly, to the point where even suggesting it makes everyone want to rip their hair out, but CATAN has been a completely different experience.It definitely takes a game or two to properly get the hang of it and understand the strategy, but once it clicks, you’re fully into it and competing to conquer the whole board.The quality of the game itself is amazing too — the board and pieces are beautifully made with a nice variety of colours, feel really sturdy, and everything is easy to assemble and set up.A brilliant game for family game nights, especially if you want something competitive and strategic without the Monopoly-level chaos.

Catan is the gateway game for more serious table-top games. The game itself is unparalleled and this version is brilliant, with everything polished and easy to set up.It came in perfect condition and we've since had hours of fun with my family.If you want something a little more in-depth than Monopoly or Scrabble, this is a great way to start.

The original and best, updated. I had the 1st edition of Catan, but left it with a relative. This 6th edition is the game fundamental game, but with much better design, art and product quality. The instructions are clear and well presented. Gameplay is easy to learn and there is lots of potential for replayability. There are expansions available, which do add to the experience, but they are not included in this package, nor are they really necessary for 2-4 players.

Bought this for the family for Christmas, and it is a good game, so long as you don't let the younger expert stack the table and choose first position.It came in the box, as seen with the shipping labels stuck directly to it. No plastic, no shipping box or envelope. Luckily I was in to receive it in the wet weather, but it still took a hour of messing around to get the labels and residual adhesive off. If buying as a gift, or you want a pretty looking box, tick the "this is a gift" option to get Amazon to wrap it up in something.

Brilliant game, different every time you play.

Intresting game but not fully my cup of tea. Well made. I like the quality of cards and elements. Definitely needs larger group of players. Not difficult to understand rules. I recommend for family and friends game time.

amazing game you can play over and over and get a different result every time. this edition is beautiful and the pieces are high quality and satisfying to hold and use, so durable and sturdy. these pieces and the box are designed to be easy to put away and get out, everything has its own section and makes you want to play it again. great game!!

Our Catan version was 30+ years old. This version is great - specifically because we often play during camping and we have a small table. This version keeps all the pieces in place!
