Kai PRO 5" Asian Multi Prep Knife

So far I am very impressed with this knife. I bought the Asian multi prep knife and it performs very well. With a 1000 and 5000 grit water stone I quickly achieved an extremely sharp edge, scary sharp, in fact. Although I am not a huge fan of cosmetic texturing, like on this knife, I really can't fault the overall look and the finish of it. It's really pretty. It works great. What's not to like? At less than $30.00, it's a steal.

I was searching for more of my favorite honesuki deboned knife . The angle n the ergonomics is great in this knife. The blade is sharp enough and holds for my purpose. Jo … it doesn’t compare to my Kasumi utility knife for $81 here on Amazon . But this is pretty good! I bought 13 .

This knife is a perfect prep knife for me: sharp, well-balanced, easy to use and the sharp point makes it very versatile.

I like that it’s very sharp, but less than a month I notice several rusts spots on it. I’ve had similar knives from other companies for years and years and have NEVER come across rust spots. Do not purchase!

Pretty sharp

I only buy shun knives, and for some ridiculous reason I chose to cheap out and buy this knife. Pics looked legit. It’s so dull I can run it over my hand. It feels cheap. Wish I’d never bought it.

Love it easy fit

This is the best $30 knife you'll ever buy. I'm a chef of 20 years and a knife collector. I've used a lot of expensive knives. Sometimes the simpler things are better. Get this knife. You'll love it at home and work.

Just received and I am disappointed, I was thinking that it was a real Japanese knife but it's not. The silver finish seam cheap to. Will see in the future if it is durable but beware of false Japanese knife.
