Wow super nice for the $ and a lot of features too.
I was not sure what to expect as I was coming from an older Hisense that was more expensive than this by a lot, but seems newer technology like mini-led in this, makes it better for much less. So even replacing an older higher end model worked out fine.I looked this up and most reviews claimed it was the best higher end "entry level" model and that is what it seems to be. Has some great features not found at this price point on other models and the picture looks great. My setup uses Dolby Vision and this worked right away. One thing to keep in mind when connecting devices is only 2 of the 4 HDMI ports are 2.1 144hz and all that, so make sure to use the right ones for the right devices or could miss out on some settings. The picture looks nice to me for a $500 TV, really nice especially if you go on YouTube and watch the 4k/8k HDR clips. The sound is also very nice "for a TV" so even if you always use a sound bar, you might be able to skip using it sometimes as the TV does sound OK with the little subwoofer on the back. FWIW yes the sound bar setup does sound better, just the TV is good enough you might not need it all the time. This is a FireTV TV so you need to connect to an Amazon account "if" you want to do some things or use the FireTV stuff. You CAN use it right out of the box not connected to internet and everything does work. I connected it to Amazon and its actually pretty snappy for a TV and works good enough. Its not like my other TV where everything takes 10-15 seconds to come up and things are so slow, this is very snappy actually usable unlike a lot of TV's.

Fantastic Fire TV Experience
don't know what it is. I am the only totally blind person living in my house. Yet I'm always the one wanting to buy new TV's! In this case, I wanted to buy it because it had better support for Dolby Atmos than our previous TV. I had a tax refund check coming, so I thought: Why not?First of all, the TV was delivered promptly. It was no problem mounting it, and the Fire TV ecosystem allowed for incredibly easy setup.I'm so glad I bought this TV! The built-in audio actually sounds decent, especially for TV speakers. But the real difference showed up when we connected the TV to our surround sound system. Holy Wow! Finally, true Atmos support! My wife and son really love the picture quality. Even though the resolution is the same as previous TV's we've owned, the brightness and contrast are far superior, and the motion is buttery smooth. Bottom line: We all love it for different reasons, and we are all happy to have upgraded from our previous television.

Looks great (assuming a setup without glare), even sounds OK.
Looks great, even sounds decent. Just caution about having lights or a window directly behind you, I need to get some curtains because even with blinds closed there is a bit of glare visible. I won't dock it a star for my poor setup though, the picture is fantastic at night. I was expecting to hate built in speakers, but honestly they're way better than I expected, I waited a while before spending on dedicated speakers. Obviously built in doesn't sound fantastic but you can enjoy movies on it.As with all TVs, you'll have to look up the best settings because I think I had to change some things to remove gross motion smoothing, and maybe something with the audio as well but I don't remember what.

Worth it. Not overly impressed
Generally good. Some annoying times where it's unclear what's going on when I turn it on... Sometimes takes a while to load/update and it has rearranged the home screen multiple times to prioritize apps that I don't use and don't want to use. I think it was worth what I paid at the time (on sale)

I will never buy a HiSense TV again.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. This TV functions like any other brand in the price range, picture is fine, features are fine, etc. However the warranty coverage and customer service from Hisense is appalling. My television failed after 14 months and has a flickering/pixelated horizontal bar across the middle of the screen. Despite contacting Hisense USA warranty and requesting they consider an exception given that I was only 2 months outside of they standard 1yr warranty, I was denied this at both the initial representative level and the escalation to a supervisor level. I was told I had bad luck...to which I replied "luck should have nothing to do with a consumer electronics product lasting more than 1yr. If anything, luck has to do with my previous Vizio TV lasting over 13 years." I was shocked at the unprofessionalism of them saying I had bad luck with my purchase. Bad judgement in choosing Hisense is much more like it. Lastly it is worth mentioning that this same exact model the 65U65QF would have carried a 2yr warranty had I purchased it from a retail other than Amazon. Go ahead and Google it...both BestBuy and Costco sell this same model number and explicitly list a 24month warranty. The escalation representative acknowledged this but could not provide a justification why the same model, (assuming it was made with the same quality of components) would carry two different warranty tiers simply depending on what my retailer or choice was. I believed that by purchasing a HiSense TV (which runs on Amazon Fire), via Amazon I was making a smart choice in retailer. Apparently I should have gone to Costco of BestBuy instead, the price was the same. There were other glitches with this TV prior to the screen failing with random App crashes (specifically AppleTV app), and randomly loosing network connection when all of our other devices did not lose network connectivity. Bottom Line I would highly advise against purchasing any products from HiSense, not simply due to the poor quality, but more importantly their complete disregard for customer satisfaction or service. They had an opportunity to make this right and instead told me I have 'bad luck'. If you do choose to purchase anything Hisense....all I can say is I hope your luck is better than mine...cause luck is all you'll have to rely on.

Buy it!!!
I had been looking at a new big screen for a while. I finally decided on this 75” U6 based on previous good experience with other cheaper Hisense TVs. We were ready to upgrade our living room TV to something bigger and better and this fit the bill. This is our first mini-led tv with local dimming and I’ll say yes! There is a difference. This tv has incredible brightness, super bold colors, and deep blacks. The Fire TV interface is very snappy. The display is super customizable to get it exactly how you want it. Games run super smooth and the built in speakers are not half bad! We don’t even use our sound bar anymore. The built in sub makes a difference. When there are so many options for TVs out there, it can get hard to pick. If you are leaving towards the U6, get it! We are very pleased with it. We’ve used it everyday for a couple months and have run into absolutely no problems!

"The best surprise I’ve bought this year"
What struck me the most when I turned on the TV for the first time was the brightness. I’m coming from a conventional LED TV and the difference is night and day; the blacks look truly deep (almost like an OLED) and the colors are vibrant without looking artificial. It’s the kind of screen that makes you want to rewatch your favorite movies just to notice details that went unnoticed before. What I really loved:Next-level picture: The Mini-LED technology with Local Dimming does an incredible job controlling the light. There’s none of that annoying "blooming" or glow around white text on dark backgrounds.Built-in Fire TV: If you already use the Amazon ecosystem, it’s a dream. It’s super smooth, fast, and the Alexa voice control saves you a lot of time searching for apps.Game ready: Even though it’s not an extreme enthusiast-grade TV, it has Game Mode Plus and a refresh rate that makes console games feel smooth and lag-free.Sleek design: The bezels are almost non-existent, giving it a very modern and minimalist look in the living room.A small detail to consider:The out-of-the-box sound is decent and works fine for everyday use, but if you really want a "cinema" experience, I’d recommend connecting a soundbar to take full advantage of its Dolby Atmos compatibility.

Put it on a wall. Turn off the light and it's like been in a movie theater. Awesome!!!!!
