I've been taking two capsules a day for exactly five months. And gradually I've begun to see that my skin, hair and nails have all improved as I'd hoped, but frankly did not expect. My skin is definitely plumper and less dry, especially in my face; and it definitely appears that my facial fat loss after (weight loss) has been somewhat mitigated. My nails are much improved, too. The tips are bright white now, and the vertical ridges are gone. Gone! I don't have to pile on hand cream constantly in these colder months when my nails used to be dry, brittle and always chipped. My hair seems to be growing faster, but I cannot really quantify that yet. And so have my eyebrows grown in from a very unfortunate teenage plucking spree...thin eyebrows were cool back then before Brooke Shields ;) It's too soon to see if my fine, somewhat over-processed hair is any thicker or will be more manageable. But the super big surprise was that my lower back (sacroiliac) which has been the source of a sporadic dull, local ache after a car accident over forty years ago (!) has vanished! Again, GONE! There is nothing else to explain it. I had learned to live with it. And while it wasn't really painful, just an occasional annoying twinge of discomfort sitting standing or moving, it's really gone. There is nothing else new in my supplements nor any dietary changes or physical activity to explain it. I also think the hyaluronic acid is a super plus; it was one of the main reasons I chose Forest Leaf over others to try out. I'm very pleased that collagen can be so positively effective in so many ways with just two caps a day. And I'm extremely pleased that I have experienced so much benefit from it. I highly recommend this product from Forest Leaf...and I (almost) NEVER recommend any product in a public forum. Yet cheers to Forest Leaf!

Affordable and always fast delivery. I take this supplement for joint health, but I'm getting other benefits as well, such as younger looking skin and thicker hair.

I tried this before and this seems to work good on my skin. Helps heal skin minor cuts or burns. It did for me. I have eczema and it soothes my skin irritation and they get better. It worked for me. Seems it help my hair get thicker and my nails grow fast. Good product.

Great functional product. Price a bit excessive but it def covers all collagen types and its hydro. I’ve seen some bad reviews that it makes you sick or you have a bad reaction or even that it doesn’t work. Please remember to keep a healthy diet when on a supplement journey. You can’t take a great supplement and continue to apply heat and toxic products to skin and hair and eat horribly then say it doesn’t work or it makes you sick. This is a great clean product. I’ve been taking it forever. I have eczema and sensitive skin and this foam not affect it! If anything my flare ups are down my hair is thickening and growing fast. My nails are growing so fast. The strength is taking some time since I had been using gel for decades. My joints and my bones feel better than ever. It doesn’t make my heart palpitate when I take it in the am in an empty stomach but not during other times of the day.

I have been taking these supplements for about 6 or 7 years for my knee and hip joints. I have been able to keep walking, moderately hiking and skiing with minimal pain. Also, people often ask me what products I use on my face, noting the lack of any wrinkles, so that is an additional benefit! The pills are easy to swallow and are tasteless.

Like most consumers beginning a new product I was somewhat skeptical in trying this for nails that have been increasingly been thin and splitting. After about two months I have seen quite a bit of improvement in the vertical lines and no more splitting. I have also seen an improvement in joint discomfort which was somewhat of a surprise as I totally didn’t expect this. I must admit this is minimal, but I do appreciate it all the same.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I first purchased these collagen capsules for my mother through another retailer, but Amazon's price is better, so future orders will be through Amazon. My mother had been taking a more expensive chewable collagen supplement for years, but as she doesn't have any noticeable wrinkles or crows feet and has always had healthy, fast-growing hair and nails, she was taking the chewables more as a deterrent and couldn't really say if she was experiencing any benefits, as she's also never had any joint issues, either. When her favorite chewables were discontinued, she asked if I would research other brands for her, and I found the Forest Leaf capsules. She's been taking them with as little expectation of any noticeable change as she did with her previous brand. So she was very surprised when, halfway into her second bottle of 120 capsules (she takes 3 a day instead of the recommended 2 capsules), I noticed that her neck and jawline -- which were just starting to lose some firmness -- appeared more taut. When I asked her if she'd lost weight or was doing something different, she said no, and just thought she was going through a "good phase." But it's now a couple of weeks later, and her jawline and neck still appear firmer. It's subtle, so not like she's had a facelift or laser tightening, but whatever the cause for the improvement, my sister and I definitely noticed it. The women in our family tend to be natural skeptics, so my mother is reluctant to credit these collagen capsules with the change in her face and neck, but says she'll continue to order them, as they have other health benefits, and they're certainly better for dental health than those sweet chewables she used to love. She also finds the capsules easy to swallow, and considering that she recently started experiencing other supplements getting stuck in her throat, that's a definite plus. One caveat is that she's noticed no hair health benefits when it comes to her once very thick hair that's going through age-related thinning at the front. But others seem to have experienced thicker hair with this supplement, so she'll keep taking them. NOTE: I do a lot of ingredient research and also thoroughly read reviews before purchasing supplements, and I noticed that one reviewer seemingly mistook the "vegetable cellulose" listed as an ingredient for the capsules as meaning the capsule content itself is a vegetarian product. And others took objection to the magnesium stearate, which is used in very small quantities, as a flow agent to avoid caking of the powder in the capsules. The FDA declares it to be safe in the quantities for which it is normally used. So if you're not a vegetarian and aren't fearful of magnesium stearate, don't let it put you off trying this supplement.
