Easy install and much easier to climb hills now
Perfect cassette for my REI COOP ARD 1.2 gravel bike that has shimano 105 components. Noticeable change in gearing and climbing ability with this cassette. Easy to install if you follow videos on YouTube. Did not come with instructions.

Works great on my Wahoo Kickr Core smart trainer!
I bought this cassette to use my Salsa Journeyer GRX 600 bike on a Wahoo Kickr Core bike trainer for cycling indoors. It matches the 11-34T cassette used with my 2x11 Shimano drivetrain, fit the trainer perfectly, and was very easy to install. The quality of the cassette seems good. I haven't had any issues with chain slippage, gear shifting, or speed during a ride on the trainer with it. Overall, it seems quite good. The price was also quite reasonable. I will need another cassette for a second wheelset soon and will mostly likely buy this again. Definitely recommended.

Surprisingly easy to change, bike shifts and rides smooth as silk!
I had allowed my old chain to stretch WAY too much and was concerned that I likely ruined my cassette and chain ring so I swapped them. Replacing the cassette was incredibly easy (plenty of how-to videos online). I bought the $10 Park Tool Shimano cassette tool, but I did manage to actually remove the old cassette with the "needle nose pliers method" that I found online before the tool arrived. I also did not have a chain whip? tool and simply used the old chain clamped with vice grips to keep the cassette from spinning. A quick overview of the needle nose method: 1. Remove the rear wheel and lay flat on the floor with the cassette on top. 2. Using a chain whip, pipe wrench, large channel locks, etc..., prevent the hub from spinning. 3. Insert small needle nose pliers into the hub... pull out on the handle to spread the needle nose part as wide as possible inside the hub. Try to get the needle nose into 2 of the slots that are in the center, across from each other. 4. While applying pressure to spread the tips of the needle nose, rotate the needle nose pliers counter clockwise. If it comes off, GREAT! If not, you may need the cassette tool. With the cassette tool, I still found that I did not need the chain whip. I held the cassette still with a towel and used an impact on the cassette tool. It broke loose quickly this way on all 3 of my bikes. Last thing: I did clean the freehub before reassembly, and lubed all of the gears on the cassette before I finished the install. While I was in there, I also cleaned the derailleur cogs. I am very happy with this item!

I like the slick hard plating
The hard outer plating makes this cassette easy to keep clean and resistant to wear. I also like to buy Shimano parts for my Shimano drivetrain, because when it comes time to troubleshoot, I don't have to ask myself whether a shifting problem is due to something else or the knock-off components I mixed in. No problems yet with this one.

Big spread
If you're like me (getting older, heavier and slower), you need a bit more gearing to make it up the gnarly grades. I typically run a compact crank with an 11-30 cassette, but needed some lower gearing for sustained double-digit grades, and the occasional 15+% shredders. I got this cassette and paired it with a GRX derailleur. I like the 34-tooth cog as my bail-out, but still adapting the the big spread on the smaller cogs.
