Great product easy to wind back when you finish works well

Needed a 50m extension lead quickly for an urgent site visit. The item was delivered quickly and well packaged. I have similar style extension leads but this having a guide on the bottom plus a clip to retain the loose plug end makes it superior.

Excellent for large garden. With four plugs I can use varies tools on my wife’s bush at the bottom of the garden. The bright green cable is easy to see when mowing and trimming. Good value for money. Only gripe the little winded knob comes off in you hand if you do it too fast.

Works well and the length of cable is exactly what I needed to reach down the garden. However unwinding is annoying. It spins ahead of itself and the cable slips the holder making it jam. Loops of cable lift over the side of the structure - it’s a bit frustrating getting it set up. That said it works perfectly fine for the purpose of extending electrical supply.

Absolutely brilliant,4 socket plenty for any job,illuminated on/ off switch,cut out safety,would highly recommend.

My wife bought this to be honest, as I work overseas and she wanted a cable reel to reach someway down my garden to plug in a WiFi camera to watch some of the animal garden visitors. Covid has turned my wife into a bit of a fan of watching the local wildlife. I suspect she isn't the only one. Bit of a line 5 here, but pre-covid we didn't really notice much of what went on around our garden and the local woods. Because we - or rather my wife - has had more time, we've noticed far more around us than we realised. Covid is grim but there are small benefits. Anyway, as I was away when my wife wanted this she sent me the link to make sure it wasn't a dodgy cheapo one that would go up in flames. As the brand is known and the price is relatively high for the 50m I figured it must be okay. When I got home I then had a good look and yep, this is a well made, high quality and robust cable reel. It's also very long at 50m - at least the one we have - and that makes it very useful. The cable is of course bright and visible - no bad thing for sure. It appears to be made of high grade materials and I hope should last a good long time. The reel itself is robust and whilst a little stiff at first it seems fine now. I would add that I have also bought the wall mount which makes rolling this up easier than doing it by hand. As the wall mounts are less than £4 each I've three of them around my house so wherever the cable reel is used, it's out of the way of damage. Overall a very good bit of kit.

This is a good quality product. I would expect quality from Masterplug and it is. I have had other makes and they don’t compare. With the guide on the bottom it is easy for reeling the wire in without it constantly getting stuck. As a senior person after working hard in the garden it needs to be easy to put tools away and this definitely fits the bill

I bought this specifically to run an electric mower and hedge trimmer at the far end of my yard, and it hasn't disappointed. The 50m lime-green cable is impossible to miss in the grass, which is a huge safety plus
