Good fit!
This did exactly what I needed it to do. The part fits well, feels solid, and performs reliably for the repair. Exact engine code, thread size, and vehicle fitment should be checked before installation. It has earned the five-star rating from me.

Stiffer bypass for thick 15w50 oil on jeep 4.0
This single filter works excellent for a 1998 jeep grand cherokee 4.0. The filter has the same gpm flow rate as stock but with a much more stiffer bypass valve then the wix one I got. It actually gives me a 5psi higher idle pressure from 40-45 psi plus. It also weirdly works well as a greater capacity filter for a 2006 toyota solara with the 3MZ-FE v6 engine. Mann filters have one the best anti drain back valve which is exactly why I use them. Those Germans got some serious engineers that make things well. I did 2 days of research between filters to ensure that im getting what I want.

Perfect fit, stable oil pressure. I run orginal equipment when I can. Mann filters are a great brand, with great function. No leaks. Threads are near perfect so east to install.

If you're buying one of these it's because you know your car deserves it and not some generic orange filter that a high school monkey lad at the parts store tried to push on you. So yeah I bought one, and yeah they shipped it to me, and yes it fit because I know what I was ordering. Big whoop, you want to make something of it?! ๐

German quality
Mann filters are manufactured Globaly but for VW, the filters are made in Germany. This is why I buy them for my VW. It's a good quality filter for any car. My second choice is Puralator.
