Great quality for the price!
Great quality for the price, however a little difficult to assemble (directions are vague). We like the locking feature; we also like that it will not rust under water. The wide steps are very nice. Once it is filled with water it stops trying to float. However, it does shift a little when you pull the outside steps down out of lock position.

Great buy
We have only had the ladder for about a week, but overall pretty happy with this purchase. My husband had no complaints with the assembly like others have. That was our biggest hesitation ordering it, but thankfully we overlooked the other comments. He also found it to be adjustable enough at least for our needs (the ground is higher outside then the bottom of the pool where we placed it). It could definitely be a bit more sturdy, less flex I guess you could say, but it is much sturdier then the medal ladders we have had with the added bonus that it wont rust out on us. Short of it breaking, which I don't foresee, we are very happy and would buy it again.

The company has terrible quality control, molded plastic pieces do not fit properly
I'm writing this as a warning to other people who are considering this ladder for purchase. Be prepared to spend many frustrating hours putting it together like I had to. The directions are bad, also the parts do not fit with out modification by the buyer. This ladder is very hard molded plastic, which is fine for it's purpose, the problem is that they left all kinds of excess hard plastic in places it does not belong, like where the seams are between the molds. Or just blobs of "Hard" plastic on a part that has to go into another part. In order for the parts to fit together this excess plastic must be trimmed or filed away. It should have been trimmed by the manufacture before shipping out. That is not the customers job to do. I spent a few hundred dollars on this already, my time is worth something too. I had to get out a big coarse file in order to smooth down parts that had globs of plastic preventing them from fitting together as they should. Then you need to really whack it with a rubber mallet to get it in. I'm not just talking about one or two parts not fitting, I'm talking about 80% or more of them. And they also don't punch out the holes in the hard plastic for bolts to pass through. They tell you to do that with a mallet and Phillips head screw driver. This will not work, a Phillips head will slip all over. You'll need a metal hammer and a good flat tipped hole punch for the job. They should have done this already not leave it for the buyer to do. I called there 800 number and complained to a Bruce in Customer service. All he did was say he was sorry and he understood why I was upset about it. He basically just agreed with me and offered nothing else. I told he I was going to warn others at Amazon about it and he said nothing. It might have been a decent pool ladder if they devoted some effort towards quality control and cared about their customers. The poor customer shouldn't need to do their work for them. I'm not getting a pay check for it they are. I will never purchase anything made by Confer Plastics again. I suggest you do the same.

Wobbly but better than what came with our pool
This ladder is much more sturdier than the ladder that originally came with our intex pool but still wobbly. We had to dig down in the ground some to help make it not as wobbly which helped. Made out of good sturdy plastic.

Great Product
Great Ladder, Wish thier was holes in the bottom of the legs to allow water to fill eaiser. Much safer the orginal ladder. Using on a Pro Series 20' x 48" Ultra Frame pool. Fits perfect without the extensions. Not as stable as i thouhg but still pretty stable. Like that its almost 100% plastic so not rust(have the intex saltwater system). Kind of hard to get get together but for molded plastic and if you want it to stay together with out fastners i kind of expected. Overall Great ladder.

Not sturdy
Thought this would be sturdy and durable based on the price. It was hard to put together and the instructions were not clear. It is very wobbly and and slides easily. The steps are more comfortable than our previous ladder but so not worth the money.

Safety and Convenience for our pool
This is the 2nd summer we've used this ladder, with no problems so far. I love the way it folds up, to dissuade little ones from climbing into the pool without supervision. It wintered well, with no discernible loss in structural integrity or color (since it is white, it should be noted the white does not look washed out or dirty). It moves from side to side a little, but no more than other ladders I've tried. Keep it filled with water to keep it firmly sunken (doesn't evaporate fast, but if you notice it starting to float, just fill up the cavities and it sinks back down again. No big deal). I like how the plastic does not rust or collect calcium/mineral deposits like my metal ladder used to. This was a good purchase.

DO NOT BUY THIS LADDER IT IS A PIECE OF CRAP
The ladder is a piece of crap. Do not buy this product it is very flimsy. It says it’s rated for 300 lbs. not even close. We assembled exactly as per instructions and it is still very unstable. Anyone over 150 lbs you have to have someone hold the ladder so it doesn’t collapse or tip over. Also the company we purchased it from does not stand behind there products.
