Easy setup and if you have other Wyze cameras, it’s very excellent choice for outdoor surveillance..

I bought this for my Airbnb outside on our deck and it works great. Great video quality & good battery life. I’ve seen the reviews on the battery life and I have to assume they’re using settings that drain it. I’ve had no problems. I have it set to only record with motion events and the spotlight set to about 50% (also triggered by motion, I don’t use sundown) and I only have to charge it about every 2 weeks with constant guests coming in and out triggering it. It does take several hours to charge so I just bought a 2nd one that I swap out and let the first charge while I’m doing a turnover. I’ll also say that the only thing I’m disappointed with is how long it takes to start up the live video feed, but I don’t know if that’s just my internet connection. It’s super easy to mount- love that. All in all, very worth it and it looks so much better not being plugged in. I love that if I ever do want it plugged in, say to have continuous recording with an SD card, I have that option as well. I definitely recommend it- just play around with the settings if you’re having reduced battery life. AND BUY A 2nd BATTERY! I’ve got it mounted to the window frame in the picture.

I regret purchasing the Wyze battery camera. The battery life is nowhere near what they advertise—it barely lasts 2 days, even with minimal activity. The motion detection is hit or miss, sometimes failing to capture events entirely. The camera constantly disconnects from Wi-Fi, requiring frequent resets. The app is slow and buggy, making it frustrating to check footage. Worst of all, customer support is unhelpful and slow to respond. Save yourself the headache and invest in a more reliable security camera.

I bought 2 Wyze cameras WIRED ans I LOVE the picture quality, the system, the videos are clear and great, I bought 2 more wireless this time, thinking thy would be the same and NO. I ordered this one from Amazon exactly as the 2 previous but it didn’t arrive in time for me to take it with me. So, the other 2; The live streaming sucks it keeps on stopping on the 2nd step, and the Battery lasted 3 weeks on the device where now I have to keep on charging it every 3 weeks? Not even a month or 3 months which I though it would be ok since the product says that the battery last 6 months , half the time it would have been ok. I needed them to check remotely , I can’t go every 3 weeks so now they are off until my next travel there to charge them. This sucks . I bought the 1st 2 somewhere else and threw Away the boxes thinking they would be ok like the wired ones. At least I am retuning the one from Amazon.

So easy to set up an use. Batteries only last about a month if used in an area with a lot of traffic.
