As advertised
Nothing wrong, just basic LED lights but not as bright as thought and should have ordered longer “neck”. Quite a $$ for what it is but not a lot of options. However, product as advertised

I'm using a three-speed gooseneck desk lamp instead and I'm getting some great photos.
A lot of money for a fixed, one speed, illuminator. I'm using a three-speed gooseneck desk lamp instead and I'm getting some great photos.

Very useful light
This is a well-made unit. It puts out very white light that is heat free. I use it on my microscope from above the slide and for micro photography with a camera. With this unit, you can illuminate objects that are actually touching the lens when you're that close..

So good we bought two
Excellent light source for microscopic work. Dual angle allows better viewing for taxonomic work.
