After seeing the reviews I had my doubts, but my incubator worked well. From 22 quail eggs that I put in, 17 hatched.

Very good incubator

This incubator worked well for us, the auto turning was great and we got an above 70%. Heat was maintained well and we didn't need to do much. Came with a torch for candling which was Ok but probably not great for thick shells. Lid was a bit fiddly to connect to the base but once I got the knackered it was fine. Clear to see inside which is handy. Humidity management is not good. The concept is great but it doesn't work, I fill the bottle and conect and it entirely empties into the incubator base and send humidity through the roof. I found using a sponge on the base and checking a few times a day worked ok. Next time I am going to add a small valve and see if that works.

So far I’m unimpressed. I’ve got a calibrated Govee thermometer/hygrometer inside and you can see how much the variables fluctuate. The temp shown on the incubator is currently an entire 1 degree C out. The temp spikes and then falls far below the set temp before the heating element kicks in. Also, the lid is so difficult to get on and get a proper seal. This is essentially the exact same incubator as far cheaper ones but with a different sticker over the top. If I candle the eggs in a few days and they aren’t developing I’ll be returning it.

Rotary stopped working after a week

all okay working won’t be sending back thank you the only thing I don't like is the lead its loose I think you put the wrong lead in

I returned this as it’s useless and the one I had suffered from some sort of electrical fault. I purchased another one that has humidity sensor and display and that’s what you really need.

Returned due to not happy with having no humidity check also candling torch did not work

We have saved so much money with this its amazing we have hatched out many chick's in the past year

Cheap quality product

I bought this as an emergency to replace an incubator that broke in the middle of a hatch. It was completely different than other incubators than I used in the past, so it made me nervous buuuut I wholly recommend it! I didn't have as much control over the humidity levels as my other incubators but it worked well. All but two of my eggs hatched (probably the eggs themselves). I really liked that the electrical components are completely separate from the water basin (my old one they were all in the bottom this is probably why it was broken) so it made cleaning up a breeze after the chicks hatched. I ended up getting two of these and ended up with a total of 18 chicks to add to my existing flock after everything was said and done. I used eggs from my own chickens and roosters and hatched for my classroom. Word of advice - I was suppose to take out the rotator on Sunday night based on the "hatch day", thinking I'll be there Monday morning, I'll just do it then instead of doing it early on Friday night. I had one incubator at home and one in the classroom on the same schedule. I woke up Monday morning to baby chicks my incubator at home. Panic!! Do it Friday night, go in on Sunday or put your eggs in a day later if you're doing it for a class. My eggs ended up hatching earlier than scheduled and started hatching 20 minutes after I got to my class on Monday morning. I made it in time so they didn't get caught in the egg turner. Whew, diaster averted. Recommend incubator.

I have quite a variety of incubators at this point, but it's always fun to find one that fills a certain niche. A few features of this one stand out. First, it came to temperature quickly and remains very stable even without the styrofoam, though I will put the styrofoam on now that I've noted that. My barnyard mix eggs are developing on track and I'm interested to see the final hatch rate. Second, I actually like the little handheld candler that came with it- it only needed one battery, which I had on hand, and while it isn't the brightest ever, it's bright enough. I can even candle my blue eggs with it. After dropping eggs more than once trying to use the built in candlers on my other bators, this is great, as I don't even have to take the eggs out to check them. Finally, I love the efficient use of space in it. It's small and compact while fitting the maximum eggs, just what I was looking for. So far, I'm liking this little machine. I only wish it came with a quail size rack too
