Question 1

How do you reattach the bungee cord end piece back on?

Accepted Answer

Well this is not as easy to explain without showing pictures. Ultimately each of the bungee cord would go in opposite directions to the open end of the clip and then you sandwich them together. We don't have a video on it right now and suggest you search the Internet for a whistle clips. If you can connect with us we can send you a personal video.

Question 2

What are the ages recommended for this item?

Accepted Answer

2-5 years is what we used it for. There are a couple other elements that you should consider. The child needs to be able to stand on the foot bar. Think about endurance for them and the length of your walk. Weight, back dependent! 35-40 lbs gets heavy for me. Regardless of age, those are two key elements. This was easier than riding on my shoulders or carrying the child. Better weight distribution, better engagement and shifting to look at things. The child is harnessed in so if the slump for some reason they aren’t falling. It pulls on your back but easy to recover. I really like and enjoyed the product.

Question 3

What happens if your child slips off the bar?

Accepted Answer

The Piggyback Rider is equipped with a child harness to ensure the safety of your child at all times. We recommend that children wear shoes while riding the Piggyback Rider®, which allows for a better grip on the bar grip tape. If a child lifts one foot, this shift in weight will immediately be noticed by the adult, who can help reset the child’s foot on to the bar. If one foot suddenly slips off the bar (a very rare occurrence), assist the child to put it back on. The child harness (secured around the child’s back and under the arms) will support the child in the event that both feet slip off at the same time. In all circumstances where the foot may slip, the child typically continues to hold the child hand holds or the adult’s shoulders.
