Best Pocket Notebook
I go through a lot of pocket notebooks. This is by far the best one yet. The spiral ones always break, the non waterproof ones shred, but this Rite in the Rain soft cover top bound notebook is perfect. Fits just right in my back pocket, makes taking notes really easy while working, and I’ve accidentally washed it twice in the washer and it still works great. Very affordable too. I got a couple other people on my shift to buy these too.

Great for taking short notes
I work in many different departments and at least in my company management seems resistant to the idea of writing things down. So that is where this write in the rain notebook comes in. I use this to take notes on engineering projects as well as component requirements, due dates, price points and everything in between. It stays in my back pocket because I have my phone, keys and small wallet in the front. It's easy to clip a small sized pen, also from write in the rain to the cover and have both at the ready to take down key information. The only trade off is that without the spiral rings that would hold the pages in a normal notebook the cover seems resistant to folding open. The notebook develops a memory for staying open depending on how long it's been open. It's a minor inconvenience but the positive is that the notebook allows you to keep it flat when it's on your person. This may not be important for everyone but it was for me, since it's in my back pocket.

The longest lasting and most durable pocket notebook
By far my favorite notebook. I made the mistake of trying Field Notes because for this price, you get 3. Halfway through the notebook the pages start falling out. The covers are paper junk too. Then I tried off brand versions. Same exact thing. Then I tried moleskin. Moleskin was the worst of them all. So I switched to RITR's top spiral and fell in love. Then, I stumbled upon this beastly bad boy. There are TONS of pages. They are well constructed and tear out easily. If you chose to keep them in and cycle through pages, they do not rip! The outer construction of RITR products is also top notch and much more superior to Field Notes. The logo may fade, even in a notebook cover, but they hold up well. I use multiple different covers, and sometimes none at all. I bought 10 of these to last for a long time. So far, I have carried this one in rotation with my top spirals for about 3 months. Hence the wear you see in the pictures. Compared to EVERY other brand, the wear is minimal. These are by far the most durable notepads. I have been using the top spiral for about a year and a half now. If they made a bulk buy of these, I would get it. I highly recommend this product.

Firefighter approved
My FF husband loves these notebooks to help collect patient information during EMS runs. The water resistance is necessary in rainy/snowy weather and allows him to revisit his notes following calls. It's small enough to carry in his first pocket and it's easy to keep notes with pencil or pen.

Works as advertised, but it's expensive.

ABSOLUTLY GREAT
Just the right size. Tear off pages. Tought paper. Love it. I keep buying them! Be aware that some pens work better than others on them.

Buen producto

If you can't get anything else
I figured this would be similar to those waterproof stone paper tradie notebooks you can get from officeworks. Instead it's just a weirdly resistance paper. Ballpoint pen and pencil work okay, but anything else, like rollerball, gel pen, marker, or fountain pen never fully dries and smudges as soon as it's touched. Lucky I didn't spend a ton on the bigger ones.
