An outstanding camera which is so easy to install. This camera was ordered due to the reversing camera in my motorhome being fogged up with moisture. It is the second AutoVox camera I have had as I have one on Debon box trailer . I am not disappointed. The camera is crystal clear and having adjustable ‘guide lines’ for reversing allows the user to achieve a unique set up for their vehicle. As my motorhome is wider than a car, it was easy to establish lines that allow me to judge all hazards. The camera arrived the following day after ordering and was set up in my motorhome within 40mins. Connecting the camera to reversing lights was easy once the reversing light wires were established. The camera fits neatly behind the number plate and is inconspicuous. The 5” monitor is small enough to not take over the dash but big enough to see the crystal clear image from the camera. I have installed the monitor on a ‘heavy satnav pad’ purchased a couple of years ago from Amazon which allows me to remove it from the dash easily when I close the blinds at night. Overall this is an excellent camera which has allowed me to be confident in reversing my 8m Motorhome again. I am considering purchasing another camera similar to the one I have on my trailer, a high level camera. The two channel monitor would allow me to connect the high level camera when I am carrying bikes on the back of my motorhome. Having both cameras operating will alert me to absolutely anything that could be considered a hazard. I would highly recommend this camera and AutoVox. Having two of their products and both being outstanding in every respect is a rare thing found in a company these days.

Easy to install - camera quality perfect - nice size screen and simple interface. Good screen mount- adhesive pads hold strong. Don't offered do reviews but impressed with quality compared to poor quality kits that fit over the rear view mirror.

Excellent camera very clear and really weatherproof no condensation due to the rain and warm spells quality vision could not be happier I would recommend anyone to buy and extra if you have a two channel screen or just the reversing kit and the big bonus is that it is wireless anyone with the remotest confidence can fit the camera I did have one on the rear of my car but changed it for the Autovox the best decision I made so if your looking for a reverse camera look no further just buy the Autovox you will not regret it

Seemingly good, paired immediately and the lag until the screen comes to life is very impressive, maybe a second or less! I would comment that the range of the camera is not as wide as I would have liked but the picture itself is very clear.

I don't often write reviews but in this case i have made the exception I already own and use very successfully an AUTO-VOX PRODUCT the Solar4 A 1080P Wireless Backup Camera with 7" Split-Screen Monitor and Dual Camera Support for RV and Camper Trailer plus with an extra camera for my Motorhome which proved a great success in an Hit and Run Accident which found the offender. Initially not bad, but the camera is nowhere near as wide angle as what you would get from a factory installed camera. The guide line overlay is also totally useless, it’s just a couple of random lines that don’t relate to anything. UPDATE: Camera failed after about 3 weeks after the first spell of rain. No way is it IP67 rated as claimed! Just more Chinese junk I guess. Too late for refund. Lesson learned, never buy again from this manufacturer.

Fitted this AUTO-VOX kit on the driveway last Sunday morning and I’m still quietly chuffed every time I slip the S-Max into reverse. The 4.5 inch screen balances nicely on the dash without blocking vents, and that sharp 1080P picture makes the neighbour’s tabby look like a tiger when it strolls past the bumper. Install took me just under half an hour, coffee still warm. One plug to the USB socket, one wire onto the reversing light and the camera paired itself before I’d even shut the boot. Later that day I squeezed between two concrete pillars in the multistorey at Morrisons, kids chanting “don’t scrape it, Dad”. And breathe, the low latency link stayed rock solid, guide lines bang on. Colour night vision is the party trick. Backing onto the unlit drive after golf, I could actually see the raised drain cover that’s mugged me twice. So yes, parking stress level now dialled right down, marriage saved.

Auto Vox Backup camera I used my first Vox Camera on a Kubota 4 wd Buggy to aid with backing. It amazed me how simple the installation turned out to be. The one downside was having to keep charging the camera but it worked perfectly and served its purpose. When I Saw this more updated version advertised on Amazon recently, I purchased it, and planned to install on another run around vehicle. It has just arrived and has proved to be so much better than the first. The camera is simple to attach to the number plate will be simple to attach to the backing light at the rear of the vehicle. However, it works perfectly just connected to any 12volt system. Only now with it up and running on my dining room table do I realise what a great devise it is. I plugged the monitor into a car jump start system with cigarette light plug and attached the camera separately with clips to a small 12v battery. The Wifi has a strong connection through closed doors etc so the system can be utilised to monitor other situations - a baby room, a child’s play area, a swimming pool area, a drive way, pets outside, a back yard or as is intended be used as a backing camera in any vehicle. It would also be perfect to set up in a horse float. Anyone who has travelled with horses will appreciate the value of being able to monitor what is happening inside the float avoiding the need for unnecessary stops. It is a great investment, good picture quality, easy to set up, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it. EB

The camera worked instantly and seamlessly after a simple install. Because I often pull a trailer with building materials and have a camper topper that allows no see thru vision, I elected to connect the camera to the running lights at the truck's back license plate. This made for a15 the 20 minute install. I've used it in the dark and rain with great vision. I couldn't be more pleased with the performance and price. I highly recommend it to others.

This camera was great. I ended up using it for a camera on the front of my truck as I can't see what is in front of me. The camera mounted super easy with two bolts on my license plate. It was easy to wire to the battery. It worked straight out of the box. I ended up have a lot of extra wiring due to the way I mounted it, but it was easy to zip tie to the engine to keep tucked away. The extra length will be nice if I ever decide to move it. The screen is clear even in dim lighting. It has the ability to connect 2 cameras, but I only have the one. It plugged in via a USB-A cable. Since I had a USB port available, it was easy to plug in. However, if not, I would have had to buy a two USB port charger, so I am not sure if I prefer the straight USB or the 12V charger. Overall, I like the quality of the camera. It has been great so far the past couple of weeks that I have owned it. The one thing I didn't like as much was a red light that stayed on on the monitor when plugged in. It would take forever to drain a battery, but as long as I drive on a regular basis it shouldn't be a problem.
