Perfect controller for the price!!! Plus it’ll take regular batteries as well as the rechargeable batteries specifically for the controllers. These basic, stock controllers have outlasted high end controllers & I’ve never experienced “stick drift.” I’ve owned “ELITE” controllers that cost 4X the price of this basic model, with no replaceable battery, and the right bumper failed after 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS?! That’s not very “ELITE” SO STICK WITH THE BASICS! I love these things. They’re the same controller that ships with the Series X. Occasionally you might get one that has a loud rumble from the haptic feedback feature but don’t let that stop you from getting a great controller FOR THIS LOW PRICE, especially the black ones, when they’re on sale. The last one I owned, I purchased the additional 2 year warranty & that warranty expired before the right bumper even started to fail. I play a lot of SOULSLIKE games, Dark Souls III, Elden Ring, Lies of P, Mortal Shell II, etc. These games can be brutal on the right bumper even when you’re doing your best to relax. Plus, I’m a guitar player so my fingers are extremely strong at tapping. I forget my own strength in the heat of combat. ABSOLUTELY 100% WILL KEEP BUYING THESE!! BUY THIS!

product is good but why did i get a used or recertified controller amazon? it did appear to be on the purchase page.. i'm used to you guys pulling some stunts. disappointing. i cant even verify it on my receipt and i paid near retail

Works great so far! However, it doesn't have the fuller plug ins on the bottom which would have been ideal.

So I got this when I first moved. Im not a controller thrower... anymore (like I was in my teens lol) and after about a yr and a half of admittedly pretty heavy gaming, I started to notice a lot of stick drift. I adjusted the Dead zones and kept truckin.. well a little became A LOT not long after and no amount of dead zone would fix it. Also my "A" button responsiveness was starting to go and I had to HAMMER that thing. Google says these things should last 2 to 5 years of "heavy use" so Id say the quality is questionable. Before that the precision felt passable, nothing to write home about. That being said, it just came with Duracell batteries and I bought a pair of rechargeables which outlasted the controller. The color is fine I guess, it was just a flat mat black finish. Don't recall any noises that bothered me or stuck out in anyway other than the sound of the joystick smacking against its little circular housing or whatever its called. I'd feel a lot better about it if it was priced at $50 and it lasted another year or so but what are ya gonna do, play on one of those REALLY cheap 3rd party Mad Catz or whatever? Nah, thanks but nah
