食塩でハエや小型昆虫をブッ飛ばそう！と言うコンセプトですがかなり真面目に造られた製品です。 自分は主に庭木に付く外来種のハゴロモの幼虫に使用する目的で購入しました。 今現在は幼虫を見かけないので成虫を見つけたらテストしてみようと思います。 意外と小さな可動部分（ポンプを動かす度に上下する塩の装填口やコック状態で上にせり上り、発射と同時に隠れるリアサイト兼用のコッキングインジケーター等）があるのでそういった部分の故障や破損が少し心配です。1年間の製品保証が付いているようですが塩以外のモノ（砂等）を使用して故障した場合は保証の対象外となるので注意しましょう。ポンプを引いてコックしてから前に戻すと実銃のようにポンプがロックされますからここでも発射状態か否かが判るようになっています。感心した点は発射準備が出来た状態の銃口を下に向けても弾として使用した粉末が零れ落ちて来ない点で、それこそ地面に居るアリも狙う事が出来ます（多分実際に試したら風圧で飛ばされる蟻の方が多いと思う）。 マイナス要因として本体前方のグリップを引いてスプリングをコックするポンプアクションのような仕組みなのですが、このグリップの引きがかなり重いと感じました。強力なスプリングが内蔵されている為であり仕方のない事なのですが子供や操作に慣れていない大人には思った以上に重労働だと思います。また、発射音が意外に大きく外で使用しても良く聞こえます。 ９月２２日（追記） 久しぶりに晴れたので庭に出て試射してみました！ 弾は台所にあったグラニュー糖のスティック１本分。塩は植物に良くないと思って少しでも環境に優しいと思い砂糖という選択をしてみました。試してみると普通に使えるようで、２～３０センチの距離で撃つと雑草の葉に無数の穴が開きました。空打ちした時の音も、ポンプの引きも慣れれば気にならないレベルで山椒の枝に連なっている外来昆虫の幼虫を見つけて至近距離（目測２０㎝）から発射。獲物は吹っ飛んでいきました。同時に成虫も居たのでテストすると２０㎝では当たっても飛んで逃げる余裕があります。しかし当たり所が悪ければそのまま落下し場合によっては羽が一部四散したりします。思っていたよりも効果があり此方に気付いて見えない所にじりじりと逃げていく成虫が銃口を１０センチくらいまで近付けられても逃げる素振りを見せないのでかなりアバウトな狙いでも当てる事が出来ます。今回、塩を使っていないので本来の性能とは違うかもしれませんが殺虫剤を使わずに木々の枝の隙間から見える成虫や幼虫に有効打を与える事が出来たのは嬉しかった。ハゴロモ系は意外と丈夫な体なので駆除まではいきませんでしたが成虫の飛行能力を削ぐなどかなり有効な製品だと感じました。弾の消費量も少なく、数十回は余裕で撃てます。 ただし、弾として使用した塩（又はグラニュー糖）が広範囲に飛ぶので屋内での使用は掃除が大変だと思います。

昔のバネ式モデルガンみたいです。BB弾の代わりに塩を使います。これでハエを殺すならハエタタキで十分です。購入時同じ写真のガンで値段が色々有りました。私が欲しかった物はガス式のsaltgunです。チカラが無くても連続して撃てるからです。中国製です。

Le Bug-A-Salt 3.0 est tout simplement génial et incroyablement efficace pour se débarrasser des mouches tout en s’amusant. Voici mon retour après l’avoir utilisé : Points positifs : 1. Efficacité redoutable : Ce gadget est un véritable tueur de mouches ! Une simple pression suffit pour éliminer les mouches avec précision, sans laisser de dégâts autour. Il fonctionne aussi bien sur d’autres petits insectes. 2. Aspect ludique : Utiliser le Bug-A-Salt transforme une corvée en véritable moment de plaisir. C’est tellement satisfaisant de viser et de tirer sur les mouches ! C’est devenu un jeu auquel toute la famille veut participer. 3. Aucune utilisation de produits chimiques : Contrairement aux sprays ou pièges collants, le Bug-A-Salt est totalement écologique. Vous n’avez besoin que de sel de table, ce qui est économique et non toxique. 4. Design robuste et ergonomique : L’appareil est bien construit, solide, et facile à manipuler. La prise en main est confortable, même pour une utilisation prolongée. 5. Réglages améliorés (Version 3.0) : La précision est encore meilleure par rapport aux versions précédentes. Le déclencheur est plus doux, et la portée est optimisée, permettant d’atteindre les cibles à une distance respectable. 6. Facile à utiliser et à recharger : Charger le sel est rapide et simple. Une seule recharge permet de tirer plusieurs fois, ce qui rend l’appareil très pratique. Points à améliorer : 1. Portée limitée : Bien qu’efficace à une distance de 1 à 1,5 mètre, le Bug-A-Salt perd de son efficacité au-delà. Il faut donc s’approcher un peu des mouches, ce qui peut être difficile avec les plus rapides. 2. Sel à nettoyer : Après utilisation, il y a du sel à ramasser autour de la zone où vous avez tiré. Ce n’est pas gênant, mais cela demande un peu de nettoyage. 3. Bruyant : Le clic du mécanisme peut surprendre au début. Cela ne gêne pas, mais cela pourrait effrayer les animaux de compagnie. Conclusion : Le Bug-A-Salt 3.0 est le top du top pour éliminer les mouches de manière efficace et amusante. Non seulement il fonctionne parfaitement, mais il rend cette tâche presque addictive. Si vous cherchez une alternative ludique et écologique aux sprays chimiques, ce gadget est un must-have !

I first thought about buying one of these guns about 5 years ago. I just couldn’t justify the expense. Now, that I have bought one I’d say it’s good value for money. But, recently I dug a little deeper into the company, reviews and YouTube videos. I have an excellent outdoor fly trap which I keep by the door, it does a fantastic job. However, inevitably some flies still make it into the house. The heat wave has meant we’ve had doors and windows open a lot. I have a bat which zaps flies but only with reach. I decided I would literally have to bring out the big gun. It’s really sturdy, has a great feel to it but not too big that I can’t reach out and shoot with one hand. So, took the plunge and ordered a Bug-a-Salt. I wish I’d bought this years ago when I’d first seen it. It’s brilliant! So well built, it feels solid and top quality. If you’re thinking kids toy, think again. It’s meant for adult use, and to cock it takes a bit of strength. The force that it fires salt out is enough to deal with flies but harmless to anything else. DO NOT FIRE at anything other than a fly and if you’re firing above eye level goggles are advised. Does not require charging. All you need is table salt. If you use anything else you’re liable to damage the gun and void the warranty. If taken care of I see no reason why this won’t last for years. On my version the sight pops up when it’s fully cocked. I practiced using a tin foil target, because I think the word must have got out that I had a new weapon in my arsenal so the flies were laying low. Anyway, some eventually dodged my other weapons so were decisively dispatched with my pump action salty slayer! Now I now how good it is I’m going to buy the infra red sight. It doesn’t leave a mess which was my concern. And salt is better than a spray or splattered fly. Now, when I miss with my racquet and they think they’re out of reach I blast them with this and they are no more! Just buy one you will not be disappointed. I’m trying to justify buying the Shredder revolver next! 10/10 Can’t recommend highly enough! I love it!
