Almost exact replacement. Andersen made changes to the window slide bracket that required that to be replaced as well. No issue as it’s included.

The new operator replacement fits and performs perfectly. However, the new supplied operator cover did not fit into my 1975 "old style" window sill stop. I tried to use the original operator cover but it doesn't fit over the new operator. I had to choose between trimming wood from the sill stop or trimming plastic from the new operator cover. There is very little wood where I would have to trim the sill stop for the additional clearance needed to fit the new operator cover so I opted to trim the plastic operator cover.I spent about an hour modifying the new operator cover to fit into my original sill stop. I used my bench top jig saw and a hand file to carefully remove the plastic obstructions from the new operator cover to achieve the perfect fit. The second operator installation went much quicker having already established what had to be trimmed from the new operator cover.New replacement sill stops are available. I don't know if replacing the old sill stop with a new sill stop enables the new style operator cover to fit the new sill stop without any additional modification. Replacing a sill stop is much easier than trimming the new operator cover and a better choice for ease of repair.

This part is ridiculously overpriced and poorly designed. Nevertheless, it is a perfect drop-in replacement for older (70s-90s) Andersen casement windows. Note that this is a 9-3/8" left-handed straight arm operator. Facing the window from the inside, the arm swings to your left, the window hinge is on your right. The right-handed (left-hinge) version is part #1361310.This replacement has several differences from the original it replaced -- the new track has no recess, shoe is mounted from the other side of the arm, the cover has screw holes and a lip that goes under the wood sill cover. Despite these differences, it replaced the original without modifications. The new arm will work with the old track if desired.This part includes the operator, arm with shoe, track, cover, and hardware. The crank handle is not included, so you'll want to save your originals or buy new ones.

My 30-year-old Andersen window's arm broke and I purchased this because it seemed like the safest choice. I watched the video on Andersen's website and the replacement was easy and effective. However I agree with others who say it's overpriced. I cannot speak to its longevity - it feels looser than my old one but otherwise operates as it should.

This is replacement operator for Andersen casement window. I am just thankful that Andersen still provides replacements for this old window. It's not installed yet, but I have confidence that it will operate, based on past replacement parts from Andersen.I am making specific note about the seller, South Shore,who initially sent a wrong side operator. Once I sent my exchange notice through Amazon, the response was swift and with a correct part. I did leave a neutral review of the seller, and I want to change that review, but I can't find the link to the seller review. When I find that link, I am changing the review to 5 stars. Their response was also personal and definitely reassuring.later edit: The operator turned out to have the arm that is about one inch longer than the original part. This is my fault since I assumed they were all same. I used the new part anyway by fastening the operator in the new place and notching the trim. It works.Found out that I can do the seller review only once. Amazon should change this policy for more flexible reviewer response to the seller, and vice versa. One time allowance for a review is less dynamic.

Worked great on our Anderson window. Easy install working good so far, if it lasts as long as the original then durability will be good.Thought it was a bit over priced.

Exact replacement for my Andersen case windows. Yes, it's kind of pricey, but it fit exactly right. You have to be very careful removing the piece of trim prior to getting at the operator screws. Take your time, use a strong putty knife to help raise the trim and you'll do fine. You may have to straighten or remove some of the old nails holding the trim in place.When ordering, be careful of your left and right. A left operator means the window catch is on the left side of the window and the operator is installed on the right side. Clear as mud? Study the drawings carefullyI saw there were some knock-off brands, but I'm glad I went with the OEM.
