Works well for Dobsonian telescope bearing mounts.
HDPE is the generic name for Teflon. Bought the pads to use as the altitude and azimuth bearing pads for some wooden base Dobsonian style reflector telescope mounts. The package with both 1/8" thick and 1/4" thick sheets works well for the purpose. I cut them to size with a table saw and drilled and countersunk the screws. No issues, and I have a long term supply of the material with this package.

Guard against abrasive surface
Used to reenforce a leaf catcher basket and performed well. Extremely abrasive resistant. Very pleased with my purchase.

Very pleased, great product.
I am rebuilding a Windmill. The Windmill needs to pivot to accommodate the change in wind. I cut out a couple of donuts with this material, and it’s working great. Easy to work with with common woodworking tools (keyhole saw). Very pleased.

Not for cosmetic projects
Bought a TV riser that was open in the back. Wanted something to close off the back and add some stability to the riser. Worked good but I had no idea how easily these HDPE panels scratched. THIS IS NOT FOR COSMETICS PROJECTS! I peeled off the protective film and I was like, is there a 2nd layer of protective film. Nope, that’s how it is. Since the panels are about 12” back in the riser, hidden by electronics and in the shadows this will work fine. But be careful with the black sheets. They show everything.

plastic sheet used as dust shield
It is as stated in the product description. It was plenty for my job. I cut the sheet to the size I needed with my table saw. It is installed and it works fine.

Warped sheet
Ordered 2 sheets of 12" x 12" HDPE. One was fine. The other one was warped.

Wrong size and color
Wrong color and wrong dimensions. Ordered 3/4" x 12" x 24" black and got 3/4 12" x 18" white. The board itself seems good. A bit disappointed.
