Durable and supportive hiker with great traction Review: Let me start by saying that I have bad feet and knees - Let me start by saying that I have bad feet and knees, so I just can't wear any shoes. If they are not really good, I'm in pain in a very short time. These shoes are amazing. I automatically put Dr. S's double padded inserts into all of my shoes, so I did with these too...but not because they were uncomfortable, it's just what I do. They are soooo comfortable. My wife and I went to Mexico and we toured Mayan ruins. These had perfect traction going up and down the pyramids. While everyone else slid on their butts to go down, I felt confident enough to walk down because of the great traction they had on the stone. I wear business casual at work, usually with brown leather shoes, but I have given up on professional leather shoes and just wear these now as going back to anything else feels like torture. I always wear an 11, for me these were a little wide in the toe and I have to lace them up a little extra tight. I had an old pair of Columbia shoes that lasted 10 years, so I felt confident buying more from them. The build quality is very rugged. I highly recommend these shoes. Review: very light weight and easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned - will be buying another pair very soon! very light weight and easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. i bought a size 11d and the fit is awesome. the soul provides a ton of cushion and support. the tread on the shoe is very aggressive and proved itself the first weekend i wore them.. big storm came through the first night wearing them and they gripped really well in some mud and slick surfaces. there's a decent amount of fabric on the shoe which have kept my feet noticeably cooler, good thing for the heat here in arizona! the toe exterior is good and solid and has kept my toes well protected from rocks. all-in-all... love the shoes, great price and great comfort. going to buy another pair just o have them on hand when the time comes

He says the fit is great. The arch support is only moderate
Updating 2/20/19: These shoes are still going strong. Nicely broken in, no worrying wear patterns. They are worn for occasional work in the yard and hiking, which we try to do at least once a month, plus occasional vacations that include daily hikes for 3-5 days (not backpacking or terribly rugged terrain, just average moderate hikes). Theyโve been worth every penny and should last a couple more years at this rate. Original review from 2016: Bought these for my SO. He says the fit is great. The arch support is only moderate, but he doesn't have particularly high arches so it's acceptable for him. So far he's only worn them around the house to break them in and he says they're comfortable and wearable straight out of the box. We'll be doing some camping and hiking in the coming weeks. Will update if any concerns arise.

The Most Comfortable Everyday Shoes I Have Ever Worn
After wearing running or regular tennis shoes on a daily basis for years I decided to step-up to shoes which were more sturdy and provided better overall support. Trail shoes seemed to be the answer. After having worn these Columbia Grand Canyon Trail Shoes for a couple of weeks I can say that these may be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are sturdy with good overall support, with good supportive soles without being too stiff and uncomfortable. These shoes are the ones I wear daily, so you really do want something that will not lead to tired feet by the end of the day. These Columbia trail shoes are perfect as everyday shoes.

Great Shoe, Comfortable, Fit as Expected, Fit Well, Durable
Great Shoe. My go to shoes are now Columbia. It is hard to find a great hiking/trail/ work shoe for people with large feet, like me. I use these and the Xcel Trail Running Shoe interchangeably for work. I own a moving and handyman company and use these for my handyman work. These are still in great condition even though they've been put through the ringer. Comfortable, Fit as Expected, Fit Well, Durable

Pass
These things self-destructed so quickly. Worst hiking shoes I ever owned.

Comfortable and lightweight.
Bought these for my son-in-law who is on his feet all day long and in the ice and snow in the winter. He wanted a comfortable, lightweight shoe that would be good on ice. We had an ice storm first of this week and he said they had alot of grip and he was really pleased with that. He says they are the most comfortable shoe he has ever owned and loves that they aren't heavy. He bought his usual size and he says they fit perfectly. He is very happy with this purchase.

Good shoe, fair price but a bit narrow
Nice shoe at a fair price but either my foot is wider that I thought or the shoes run a bit on the narrow side. They worked out OK and I kept them.
