A Silent Voice Complete Series Box Set

This series gets better and better as the story progresses, so it would be remiss of me not to mention that although Volume 1 may make you sick, you should read on.

The art, the characters (especially the two leads), the concept, the execution. Beautiful, touching, genuine. If you loved the film, get this set. If you haven't seen the film, watch it first and flesh it out with this set after.

My daughter wanted me to order this box set, and given she asks for very little and needed cheering up I decided to get it as an early birthday present for her. I have to say I was very impressed when it arrived. The box is your typical box but the books are really nice, plus there was a bonus poster and character journal. Better still my daughter absolutely loves it and has already read all the books, as well as putting the poster up by her bed. Whilst I think the full price is a little steep, the offer price I got this set at was worth every penny, if for no other reason than my daughter loving them so much because it’s hard to get her to read at the moment.

I normally don’t read slice of life manga, but this tale is so highly rated that I had to give it a try. When I saw the price for the box set I had to give it a try and so glad I did! The story lives up to the hype. Now for the physical product. It arrived without any external damage. Both the box and the books look good. However, there are some pages that are wrinkled. The text was still legible so it’s alright, but felt like it’s something to keep in mind. There were also multiple pages like this. I’ve only included one example though

This made me cry, but it’s so beautiful and I love the character development. Came in perfect condition
