Upgradedª Bulletproof Coffee Kit

Love the energy I get from this. The coffee is so good, one mug satisfies and it's true - not hungry for quite awhile. Started slow (1 tsp each of butter and oil) and using a frother to blend. Ready to move up to more oil and see how that improves all of the above!

Please do not buy this. The coffee is nasty. Being from Costa Rica and drinking good coffee and drinking the bulletproof coffee is like drinking dirty water with no flavor seriously.

So for I like the coffee and the oil. I have only used it once

But i will give 3 just because for the most part i like the job of Dave Asprey. I dont necessarily agree with everything he says, especially when he uses pharmacology (so called "nootropics") to improve mental performance without assessing the possible risks these might have on the long term (no drug on the planet has been assessed for long term effects). Pretty foolish! On this product, which i bought twice (a part of me wanted to like it), i can say that the taste of the coffee is not good. It is not bad, it is just not good (kind of a sour kick at the end), and considering the price i expected better taste. In terms of boost, i mixed both for a while to no avail. The oil, most of the time tastes like the plastic container. I don't know if Bulletproof has invested anytime on making the container BPA-free, but the oil does taste like plastic most of the time and this is my second container. I also bought the upgraded Brain Octane Oil and it has the same plastic aftertaste. My second bottle lies in my counter top halfway thru and i don't think i'm going to finish it. Plastics are amazing at disrupting the hormonal balance of the body. The purpose of my review is really to push Asprey to improve this things. I have nothing against his brand, but i have all in pro of stating things like i know them to be, especially in matters of health. If you want the boosting effects, and taste is not a consideration for you, go for the coffee and mix it with coconut oil and ghee or grass-fed butter. For now, i believe that Bulletproof has to work on its bottling for a while.
