Cat Scratching Mat Pad Horizontal Scratch Post Scratcher Mat Carpet Protector Rug for Indoor Cats - 12x16 inch

I purchased this scratcher, and placed it near where my cat likes to claw the carpet and furniture. This scratcher is sturdy and well-made, and my cat almost use it every day, and it performs very well. I highly recommend it!

Smelled funny at first but the scent dissipated quickly. It came wrapped tightly in a roll but has flattened out fine. It's smaller than I pictured but plenty large enough for scratching. Little more expensive than I would normally pay for a scratch mat but I'm hoping it will last long and not shed. Cats like it.

I have enough cats that the corners of my sofa will always take a beating, so I decided to just go with it. These mats fit perfectly and tack on securely with a few small nails. I had to pull one off and reposition it, which went well enough that I don't think it will be a problem to replace these if they ever get too beat up. They are small enough that I doubt they'd work well flat on the ground, but I'll be getting more to fix up some old cat trees.

Too small. This is great for a tiny new kitten. Not even close to usable for a full grown cat. It is half the size of my dude. I’m gonna buy a much larger one. So far he has tossed it across the room tossed it under the couch and put it in the laundry room where his litter box is. To let me know I’m a dumb cat lady and I should have known better. I will say this is a great product for a new cat person it is made really well and will be super durable for a small kitten to learn on.

Cat loves this scratcher. I have several throughout the house. She has never used my furniture to scratch on.

I have mounted this scratch pad on a corner where my cats like to rub. It is the first one like it to not start coming apart after the first month in use. This one is sturdy! I have four cats and it’s holding up very well.

This is a nice, well-made little mat. That's about the only nice thing I can say about it. My cat didn't care for it at all. She didn't even try to use it as a scratching mat. If you know cats, you know one might use it, while another cat will just walk away. I ended up using mine as a little door mat for the side door.

Update- my cats loved them to death. They worked like a charm. Now I am ordering a new set. However the new mats That came are two different colors. Not even a dye lot issue. One is cream and one is natural. I am hoping the seller will work this out for me. I bought these to put on an upholstered chest in my bedroom. My cats shredded the previous fabric. I bought these as an affordable option to save the new fabric. I had to use screws instead of upholstery tacks because the tacks kept pulling our. These mats are fairly thick. I used double sided tape to discourage scratching on the fabric. Works like a charm. My kitties us the mats all the time. The only thing is I don’t feel that these mats would work laying flat on the floor.
