Can i take the photos stored on this device and copy them to my pc computer? are the operating systems compatible?

There are 2 ways to save the photos on this Photo Stick, 1, connect this Photo Stick for iPhone with your iPhone or iPad, taking photos from APP, then the photos will be stored on this Photo Stick direcly, no need to move, no need to waste your iPhone's memory. 2, taking photos from your iPhone camera, and move the photos to this iPhone flash drive. After storing the photos on this Photo stick for iPhone, then copy them to your PC computer, there are 2 ports in this Photo Stick, one is Lightning port for iPhone or iPad, the other is USB port for computers, so all computers with USB port can use this Photo Stick. Hope I made myself understood.

Is anyone else concerned about it being from China and phone being hacked?

Speaking from personal experience, I've used this flash drive for over 8 months & so far, I haven't been hacked. On the other hand, China has its finger on our DNA test companies, covid test laboratories, major retailers, big manufacturing companies so there.

Of course, if there are videos, they also will take more space. All depend on the special situation.

2024年にiPhone14の写真のバックアップ用に購入。iPhone14にライトニングで接続すると、オートバックアップが実行されて、その後、自動でiPhone側の写真を削除してくれる優れもので、愛用しておりました。 2026年にiPhone17に機種変更したところ、USB-C接続が必要になったため、UGREEN Revodok Pro 12-in-1を購入して、USB-Aポートに本USBメモリを刺したところ、JDデータが一発起動して、オートバックアップが実行されて、その後、自動でiPhone側の写真を削除してくれました。

動画のバックアップはめちゃ遅い

8000枚の写真は流石に4時間くらいかかった。中でも15分ほどの動画一本バックアップするのに30分くらいかかってた。まず本体の写真と動画を整理してから行った方がいいと思った。それでも移せたら本体のストレージもiCloudストレージも減って本体を買い替えずに済んだ。

I love this product because it is very easy to use. Download the "JD Drive" app on your phone before you plug in the drive and just follow the directions. If you work with folders and files you will really appreciate the way this drive is set up. This is the third photo stick storage I have purchased and it is the best. Seriously this drive does the work for you. I have no problem moving photos to and from the drive or my notebook. Also KUDOS to the designer/manufacturer for putting the user manual on the flash drive. I normally spend hours searching for a manual that I can download and read without using a magnifying glass . Hey we have all been there trying to read those teeny tiny manuals. I would have given an extra 5 stars just for that bonus. I love this photo stick and definitely recommend it.

Perfect. Problem solved

In a lovely box, tons of storage, incredibly easy to use. Like most people, I’ve been struggling with devices full of random photos and screenshots. Too many to go through and get rid of what is not needed, But too risky that there’s important ones in there to just scrap the whole lot. And I’ve now run out of patience with all the different storage subscriptions, data issues, and rising costs for digital life. So this is perfect. I plugged it into my phone, (having made sure my battery is fully charged), and I automatically had a screen come up with various options, one of which was clearly marked ‘backup’. Hit this button and it started downloading as per all my device folders - no need to organise again!. Overall it’s pretty damn quick, but do beware very long videos (some of mine were 2 hours!), will take around 2 to 10 minutes. Around an hour or so later my photos were safely backed up and I’ve now been able to free up 100GB on my phone. The data is mine, stored with me, organised in same folders as I originally set them up in and (assuming the stick doesn’t fail…) safely looked after and easy to access. I estimate I’ll need one of these a year, so I feel the cost is great value. For me personally, much better than cloud storage subscriptions.
