I was going to give this product 1 star because it was very hard to open but I watched some YouTube videos about the product and discovered that once you put in the code you have to push down on the top and pull the lever at the same time . Now it very easy to open and I would defenatly recommend it to anyone that looking to keep there personal belongings safe without investing in a large bulky safe.

Perfect for secure weapons storage, clips and id's. Made back wall plate and platform on metal shelf brackets and bolted. So far pushbutton entry makes it easy, need to research battery replacement for keypad when needed.

I got the digital version. This safe is very well made, but getting it open is tricky. Be sure to Keep the instruction for future use.

I should have trusted the other reviews... this thing is junk. The hinge is not secure an looks like a kid with a screwdriver and hammer could dismantle it. But they would not need to bother because the lock itself is simple to open by inserting things into the huge gap between the lid and body. Obviously, I can't really test the fire resistance, but given how big that gap is, I don't trust the fire resistance claims at all. Overall conclusion: junk product.

Safe, secure and convenient

We bought this safe to store important documents and papers. We didn’t want something too big and this seemed to fit our needs. It is sturdy, a reasonable price, and the passcode was easy to set up. We appreciated that it’s waterproof and fireproof to protect our important documents. Some downsides: it BARELY fits a 9x12 envelope. If you want to organize papers and documents that are any bigger than that, this is not the safe for you. Since this safe was made to basically just store papers and documents, we were disappointed with the interior size. Another downside, this safe is small and light enough that someone could carry it out of the house if they wanted to. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to screw it down in a permanent location. You would have to hide or store this in a very inconvenient location if you were worried about that. Overall, we rated this 3 stars. We were able to make it work to store MOST (not all) of our documents, but were disappointed in the lack of functionality that you would hope for in a safe.

I needed to replace a very old personal safe. I wanted fire resistance and water resistance. I only wanted for important papers. Passport, birth certificate, property titles, etc. This size was perfect for that. I really only wanted key lock, but code lock will work.

we sleep a lot better knowing that our important documents are well protected. This was a good investment. it does not need to be fixed to the wall... it just seats in the cupboard... quite heavy!

Product arrived on time, product support from the manufacturer is useless but I’m not allowed to say this apparently.

Anyone can open it with a very slight press down on the safe itself then press the button and surprise your password is useless! Very disappointed with this product and I’ll never buy from this brand again

I thought for the low cost of this, it would be flimsy - but it's not. It's quite excellent quality and very sturdy.
