Too basic Review: A friendly introductory guide to weight training for women - An excellent introductory book for any woman who is new to lifting free weights and wants to do workouts at home and/or supplement a weightlifting at the gym. The illustrations are very clear and straightforward. There are some excellent weekly workout programmes to exercise different muscle groups at the end of the book. Well worth the money.

Nice book
Really nice book that guides those of us who aren't pro gum people. Love the work outs listed and instructions for all of them with pictures. Easy to work out at home with a few weights and nothing crazy, even have modified options to easier or harder. Highly recommend for any woman wanting to get started and aren't sure what to do.

This book will help me get back in shape & I recommend giving this book a try.
Wow! This is a great book for anyone, especially someone who wants to have good form whether exercising with body weight or free weights. Although the book says it is for those new to weightlifting, I weightlifting for decades and really need this book as a refresher because I have not lifted in more than 10 years. The figures in the book show proper form and are easy to follow.
