This is the second bottle I’ve bought. I have combination skin, with an oily T-zone, occasional acne, and very sensitive skin. This foaming face wash cleans gently, has a pleasant scent, and leaves my skin soft without feeling tight. I recommend it if you want a product to cleanse your skin daily, either before applying any cream or serum, or after removing makeup.

Oddly, this "foaming" face wash isn't very foamy at all. It has a very thin and watery consistency. I do like it though, and it works well. I have to wash my face twice with it to get clean and remove makeup though, so I seem to be going through it fast.

Great product, makes your skin feel super clean without drying it out too much. I’m just not entirely sure how much it helps with breakouts because I would still break out while using it, but I know that it didn’t necessarily CAUSE any breakouts.

The BHA breakout defense from Burt’s Bees has worked really well for my finicky, acne-prone, 55yo skin with rosacea. I’ve tried other types of face washes that work for a short while then fizzle out. But not this one. I first bought it on their website a few years ago, and was so impressed with how it has worked for my skin, that I’ve continued to use it daily. The scent is light, it has never irritated my very sensitive skin, breakouts have been reduced dramatically for me, I find good deals here on price, it rinses clean and makes my skin feel good, and I hope they never stop making this! It’s hard to find something that works just for you, and has staying power. This is that product for me, so I keep stocked up. This item always comes sealed with no leakage, I’ve been fortunate for that.
