Revlon Cuticle Trimmer with Cap, Black, 1 Count

Wow i purchased this quite a while ago, but it's still holding up & i use it very often. I wash my hands A LOT, so hands & cuticles are always dry & cause 'handnails'. I use that to clean up my cuticles. It's a great tool but careful it can be very sharp. It's a good value & east to use. Been buying this for decades.

I used to use this in the 90’s, but back then the V was thicker and it did not cut well. They must have updated because now the cutting edge is sleeker which gives a great trim.

My 7 year old revlon cuticle cutter/pusher has a deep sharp 'v' groove that STILL works excellent. I bought two more of these January 2022 to keep in multiple places... these new ones are useless. The cutting groove is shallow and not a 'V' but a small rounded skinny 'U' shape. Which lends it to a very poor cut. I returned both the opened and unopened one and will not buy another because this newer design was a step backwards. I don't know if this change was for safety or cost cutting but it absolutely made this tool nothing more than a cuticle pusher. I mean, I'm actually wasting my morning writing a review because of how crappy this product has become. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE revlon cuticle pushers unless you can verify in person if the groove is a deep V or the useless shallow U.

This cuticle remover is the only one I have been satisfied with for the last 10 years. Make sure you use it on your cuticles after showering or soaking the hands in warm water so they are soft and easier to remove. Using it on hands that have not been soaked or in water for a while will cause the cuticle to be removed along with some skin and you will be prone to bleeding and/or possible infection. Also, keep this instrument away from children as it is sharp! Overall, this is the only cuticle remover for me. Cheap, simple, and effective!

Not very sharp. I had a Revlon tool similar this that worked great for years. I also have one like this that I forgot didnt work well at all. So I returned this one. I wish I could find the earlier model.

I got one of these in a Revlon kit about 40 years ago. This is a much better and safer alternative to cutting back cuticles, because cutting can lead to infections and long-term nail damage. This tool works best if you've soaked your cuticles (or just come out of the bath or shower) so they are soft. I especially like how they work along "free edge" by the nail's tip. That seems always to get dry and rough between manicures, and this tool takes care of that easily.

Doesn't work well

I've been using this Revlon Cuticle Trimmer for several weeks and am very impressed. The V-tip is sharp enough to trim excess cuticles cleanly without pulling or tearing the skin. The handle is comfortable to hold and provides good control, making it easy to use even for beginners. The included cap is a nice touch for safe storage. It's durable, affordable, and gives salon-quality results at home. Highly recommend!
