Tiptree Boxed Christmas Pudding, 1lb (Pack of 1)

I buy this Christmas pudding every year. It is very good. Very moist and rich and perfect with hard sauce. Worth the price. Easy to heat in the microwave before serving. Some of the one star reviews say the pudding is too small. The 1 pound pudding is plenty for a gathering of 8 with some left over. I don't advise eating much of this at one time.

Authentic British Christmas pud that comes in a nice pudding basin.

My husband is British and lives here in the USA now. He misses his Christmas pudding. So I try to get him one every year. He said the taste was excellent very good! It was of good quality and sealed up good. Taste and texture were perfect. His only complaint was that it was very small, we expected a larger size.

Christmas pud was a tradition in our family when growing up. I wanted to add that to my family this year. This is a very rich and fruity mix and brought back some great memories. If you haven’t had one you will be surprised at the density of the pudding. It is solid, and supposed to be that way. I did not have a real steamer so it went in a pot for 3 hours with the lid on, checking water level. It came out great. First time for the kids so it was a new experience for them. Not sure they found it as good as I did, but I was also reliving my childhood. Good chance we will do this again for Xmas 2025 and this brand would be on the list to buy. Also my wife loved the bowl it came in so that has been added to the crockery.

I was, oddly, in the mood for a Christmas pudding in the middle of a heat wave, so I ordered this. My expectations were low, because it was pretty low cost, and the only one available this time of year. Boy, was I surprised. It's really good. First and foremost, it comes in a nice box, that even has a signature for the quality control person who checked it. Also, it comes in a real ceramic (not plastic) pudding tub, with an old-school cheesecloth cover. For years I've bought another brand that came in a cheap plastic basin with cellophane over the top, never again! They do their best to say, "If you microwave this, you don't deserve to enjoy Chrismas pudding" :-) The instructions really enforce the "You need to steam this in the traditional style, it's easy, set it and forget it for 90 minutes. They are not wrong. Came back 90 minutes later, took it out, sliced it up, and it was great. A nice flavor to it, plenty of fruit and the perfect amount of sponge to it. Definitely will get this again over the Walker's brand. It's well worth the 90 minute steaming time!!!

Excellent taste, great cost

Amazon isn’t the place I would have expected to get a great Christmas pudding, but I needed it in March. Now I’ve tried it it’ll be for Christmas too, regardless of other stockist. Flavours great and the fruit is not gritty at all (as it can be with cheap versions). Gate off!!

Par tradition à Noël c'est le Christmas Pudding. Cette année nous avons décider de tester ce pudding, une réussite. La présentation est de qualité et surtout le pudding est délicieux. Une vraie découverte! Entre le faire moi-même et l'achat, pas de doute j'achète un tel pudding. Acheter depuis un moment, sa conservation n'a pas poser de problème. La livraison c'est faite dans les délais. Bravo
