good afternoon, can I grow these tomatoes in a greenhouse or do they need to be planted in open ground and do they need to be feathered by bees?

You can grow them in a greenhouse or with a heat pad by a window with good light. You can put some Saran Wrap on top of the tray to keep the moisture in. When you see the sprouts start coming up remove the wrap and remove from the heat pad as the sprouts can become too tall and leggy. The heat pads are quite reasonable in price.

Can I use in hanging upside down planter

I have tried the upside down basket and had only fair results. A large planter worked better for me.

We live in phoenix. gets hot. can you just put the seed in the ground- with water and plenty of sun will it do ok?

I believe it is too hot there. You will have to sun shield it. Always water from bottom. Don't get plant wet, only roots. But yes these will germinate from the ground. I would buy potting soil, put fresh where u plant.
