Modern One Line a Day: A Five-Year Memory Book

I love this journal! I've always found it hard to maintain a journal - I felt like I had to fill all that empty space, and most days didn't feel worth writing about. With this, I can write just a few sentences, which is exactly what I need. I absolutely love that this is a 5-year journal as well. I'm over a year into my plain blue original one, and reflecting back on the past year is helping me to really see how my life has changed (or not). I bought this version of the One Line a Day journal for a friend. The cover and pages are beautiful, fun, and modern. This is a quality book - the binding is done well (no issues with mine after a year!), the colors are gorgeous, the cover is sturdy and beautiful, and the gold edging makes it all feel extra special. This is such a great gift for someone who you know loves the idea of journaling but doesn't have the time, and for folks who love reflection and introspection. I gifted the celestial version to an astronomer friend, and she's so happy with it. I can't say enough positive things about the quality of the One Line a Day journals. They are beautiful in themselves and make for lovely, treasured keepsakes. I so enjoy sitting in bed at the end of the day and taking a couple of minutes to fill in my journal and reflect on the day. I couldn't be happier with these journals or recommend them more highly. I wish I had started one a couple of years ago when I began law school! Such a wonderful way to hold on to memories of exciting times in someone's life. This won't disappoint!

Smaller than I expected but honestly don’t mind. If you like to write/journal this may not be for you. The spaces for each day are small. I’m using it for a daily thought/gratitude/blessing. A daily reminder that the little moments can have the biggest impact. You could use a notebook but I like how the days are organized to remind you each day of last year.

I have used these journals for years and this year I bought one for my besties for Christmas so they could start using them. It is so nice to have the log of each day for five years in one place and it’s just a couple of sentences a day so it isn’t overwhelming and helps you create a habit. Perfect gift!

This is the second Modern One Line a Day Memory Book that I have purchased. As an elderly lady (but young at heart), I always start the diary/journal with a prayer that I live long enough to finish this 5-year Memory Book, and so far so good! I try to enter something on every page. I do it for myself, but also for my children when I'm no longer here. I like to write something about them (they're all grown up) a few times a week; what they did, what they said, etc., plus something that I did, or how I felt. I like the sturdiness of the book, and cherish it.

Have one of these for each child- love it!!

I like this product because it's small enough to travel with and store easily. It does make it a bit difficult to write anything of substance for each date, though, as each entry space is quite small. Overall, good product with durable covers.

It will be interesting to see how your days are recorded and how that correspond to prior years on the same day. If you use it, it will be fun to reflect on.

I received this journal as a birthday gift from a friend and I'd never heard of such a thing. I bought one for another friend quickly after receiving mine. I've used mine for almost 2 years not and it's fun to look back on past years as I'm updating it dailey.

I have tried to journal over and over in fanciest notebook I would find, but never have I been able to stay consistent. I am still not 100% there yet, but it definitely helps. With this, 'I want to' journal, which is a big change for me.
