im using it for a nvidea 5060 connected to a geekom a e 8 using a usb port with the supplied usb 4 cable. brilliant results well done razer.

The item itself is a full 5/5 stars. I inside it I have an MSI RTX 5060Ti Ventus OC+ paired with the 2025 Corsair RM850e PSU and a Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 PMW chromax.black fan and which all together is a powerful and quiet piece. The only reason I rated it a 4 star is because of its lack of a PSU included.

I'm giving it a 1 star only because it works as intended......... Ok so this thing is made from flimsy really easy to bend metal. Then you have the problem to open it as it's just flimsy none of this fancy pullout or solid build. Then you don't have any physical power button other than the PSU as this thing detects the the PC and turns on automatically and switches off automatically. The thing looks horrible no cool looking lights, it's to big for my taste. There are no additional ports just the USB C thunderbolt 4/5 out put Now the drum roll for why it's bad..I CANT JUSTIFY THE PRICE AT ALL ITS EXPENSIVE AND SOME THAT ARE SIMILAR IN PRICE LOOKS BETTER HAS EXTRA PORTS AND CAN BE CARRIED. GO FOR SONET THATS THE MISTAKE I MADE. Now why did I buy this for 2 reasons there aren't alot of thunderbolt 5 options out there and lastly if it needed support razer is a trusted brand so I was thinking along that side of things.

This enclosure didn’t work for me. I put Gigabyte Eagle OC RTX 5070Ti, 1000W PSU from Corsair, but it didn’t work for Lenovo Legion 7 16IAX7 laptop. In addition, the space between PSU and GPU in the Razer box is very tight. There is not enough space from PSU cables to the board, and GPU. Inside space is very limited for all cables to be managed properly. Also, I don’t like the black color. I would prefer silver or white. The good thing is that I got a refund after I returned the enclosure. It will probably work for other laptops, but not every model is compatible.

Fonctionne comme attendu sur Windows11Pro et fonctionne également sur Linux Debian13 et Fedora42. Attention malgré tout à certains PC qui ne sont pas officiellement certifié Thunderbolt 4 ou 5 et qui vendent malgré tout leurs PC avec la mention thunderbolt. J'utilise ce boîtier pour accueillir une RTX5060Ti et une RTX2070 de chez MSI. Tester sur un MSI A18HX-A9W et un AcerNitro5-AN515-57, sans surprise c'est le Acer qui n'a pas la certification et qui m'a posé problème. Si votre ordinateur plante au démarrage ou refuse de s'éteindre, adaptater vous à cela, la carte graphique externe est éjectable comme un disque dur externe et est donc connectable après avoir démarré. Cette simple spécificité permet de se débarrasser de certains problèmes et de profiter de la carte externe. Maintenant ma véritable utilisation de ce boîtier c'est de faire fonctionner un OcculusRiftS qui n'est compatible qu'avec des sorties DisplayPort directement lié à la carte graphique (inexistant sur PC portables).

Los materiales tu la estructura se sienten muy pobres. Si lo comparamos con la versión anterior han bajado mucho la calidad para ahorrar costes.

Installato con una gtx 5080. Prestazioni spettacolari con il thunderbolt 5. Precedente avevo un core X v1 con thunderbolt 4 ed ho dovuto cambiare l'alimentatore per montare la 5080 e le prestazioni seppur ottime non erano ancora il massimo infatti si presentava un collo di bottiglia sulla comunicazione. Cambiato il Laptop con uno nuovo, sono passato subito a thunderbolt 5 e le prestazioni si sono viste subito. Almeno il 30% in più. Peccato non poter avere scheda di rete da 5 o 10gb o altre porte usb sull'enclosure. Attenzione a scegliere un buon alimentatore.
