Crocus LOVE to come up through the snow!!!
RULES for Growing Crocus: (1) plant in the Fall - around first of November - for Spring blooming. (2) plant in the Fall for Spring blooming. (3) expect flowers to come up through the snow. (4) Crocus "normally" do not like the heat - they LOVE the cold! It is now the end of May ... and they are STILL blooming ... and SPREADING ... and GROWING taller ... I cannot help but wonder if they will bloom all summer.... guess time will tell. but I still love the colors.... an the plants ... and the growth!

Not a single bloom
Not a single plant grew from this batch, sadly. Very disappointed.

Hardy and big flowers
Despite a desk being built practically on top of them and getting severely trampled they all seem to have come up and were beautiful early spring color sometime even through the snow! Cold hardy for sure!

I planted these out of season so I don't know if they'll grow or not yet, but all the bulbs appeared to be in good condition and I expect that they will pop up in the spring like they should. I will update this review in the spring when I know if they survived or not. the price for the amount of bulbs you're getting is an absolute steal, and its a nice mix of cultivars. Assuming they perform as well as I expect based on the condition of the bulbs, I think I will be very pleased with them.

Blooms are 1.5 to 2 inches across. Decide for yourself if that qualifies as jumbo. I planted these in Nov 2023 and got 39 of 40 in March 2024. This is zone 7b, planted in sandy soil with morning sun. This is year 2 and I have 80 identifyable leaf groupings. The colors I received were yellow, purple and white. For whatever reason, they bloom in that order. It's 3/11 and a few yellow have been up for a week. Purples are starting to open. White are buds only. Quite a few are at the foliage only stage.

was not successful at all
Planted as instructed, about 25% sprouted, but died away without blooming. No buds at all. Most of them molded in the soil (green mold). I believe they were dried out when shipped. Adding water/soil just made them start rotting.
