I've raised two kids with this book happily after all..

My daughter absolutely loved this book. Its bright colors and large pictures, and heavy board pages, make it perfect for babies and beginning toddlers. I wholly recommend you get the books in this First Words sets.

6ヶ月頃からFirst 100 wordsを買って読み聞かせしていました。 最近は(1歳4ヶ月)動物にとても興味があるみたいで 色々な動物に触れるチャンスだ！とこの本を買いました。 動物園にも行ったので益々動物に興味を持ち 今はこの100animalsもお気に入りに！！ 私も知らなかった動物の名前が沢山載っていて一緒に勉強出来るし楽しめるし 買ってよかったです！ 持ち運びにも便利で車でも読んでくれています。(酔わないか心配なるくらい…) フォニックスの練習にも使ったりしますが、発音が分からない動物もいっぱい居たので ネットで発音確認してから娘に教えています！

カラフルで小さい子どもには扱いやすいサイズの本ですが、同じ動物が何度も登場するのと写真のチョイスには不満があります。 写真では猫と子猫の違いがはっきりしなかったり、体全体を掲載してほしかった動物も多数あります。 最後のミミズの写真は気持ち悪いのでページを削除しました。 けれども孫たちは喜んで手に取っているので星4つとしました。

思ったよりも小さい本でしたが、きれいな写真と多彩な動物が載ってて楽しいです。大人でも知らない英語があり、勉強になります。 分厚い本なので子どもが破壊することなく安心です。

3歳になる前の息子は普通の紙だと破いてしまう事があるけれど、 この本なら丈夫なのでうちは大丈夫でした 表紙もしっかりしてます

As figuras são em fotos reais, achei lindo o material é excelente, meu filho amou, vive com ele pra todo lado e não tem perigo de desgastar.

My son is quite possibly obsessed with this book! He is a year old and just starting to learn animal names and noises. This book works very much like a set of flash cards and he enjoys pointing to the animals and telling us what they are. I also like that the pictures Re photographs, rather than illustrations - I think it makes it easier for him to recognise them. A very good first book of animals. Oh, and it's pretty indestructible, too!
