Dana 30 Differential Cover Gasket Lubelocker

I was skeptical at first but read great reviews online so I decided to try it out.I normally use a copper or red sealant which is messy and harder to remove cover when performing maintenance.This gasket worked perfectly, so far, no leaks and fit exact, even with my aftermarket stainless-steel covers.Time will tell if it lasts, but I believe it will.

I was regearing my dana 30 in a 1984 cj7 and upon receiving the gasket was a bit skeptical due to how thin it was. I cleaned both surfaces thoroughly and insured they were true. To my surprise this gasket sealed perfectly, dry as a bone. Great product!

Didn’t want to mess with silicone sealant, heard good things about Lube Locker gaskets. I have to say I’m impressed! Cleaned the cover and housing well, bolted everything up, and have not seen a single drip or any sign of leak on either the front or rear of my Jeep. If I can get a couple changes out of them before I need to replace them I’ll be extremely happy.

Installed this on a 2013 Wrangler with the Dana 30 on the front that had been sealed with RTV silicone and had developed a slow leak. All of the reviews I read suggested this gasket instead and they were right. Installation is straightforward - definitely a DIY job if you have even minimal mechanical skill: 1) drain the old differential oil, 2) pop off the cover, 3) scrape the old RTV sealant off of the cover and differential body, 4) put the LubeLocker gasket in place, 5) bolt the cover back on, and 6) fill with fresh diff oil. Whole process took me about 45 minutes due to the process of scraping the old RTV sealant off. Best of all, NO LEAKS. Plus they added a sticker to the package. Well worth the small investment.

Wow ... I have change diff covers on a number of my Jeeps but never tried these before.Pros:- Easy to install- No RTV needed- No instructions required (Straight Forward install)- Appear to be well madeCons:- Not as cheap as RTVSo I decided to try out the Lube Lockers on my recent installation of front and rear Diff covers for my current Jeep project. The hardest part of the job was cleaning the old RTV off the Differential housing surface. These lockers went on so easy ... I have only had them on for a couple of days and no leaking at this point. One of the things I love about this product is that it is re-useable. I like to change my diff fluid every 40K - 50K miles or so. Cleaning up has always been the hardest part of that job. I am hoping that with these on .. it will make changing the fluid much simpler. If this works .. it is simply genius.

Seals up really nice ,no leaks and no rtv cleanup. Used on my jeep tj Dana 30

Expensive for a gasket, but seems to be working. Aren't many options for the seal here.Either you mess with rtv, or buy this.

Looks like good quality, waiting until it warms up until I install it.
