The Criterion Collection [Blu-ray]

Expected to get two disks (4K and the Bluray). I only got a single Bluray disk. I believe the Bluray is taken from the 4K source so it looks really good, just something to be aware of if you are buying this expecting the highest quality format this film has to offer.Region locked but used by Panasonic UB820's Stop + Top Menu trick to bypass the lock.Little disappointed I didn't get the 4K disk, but happy enough overall. Don't want to go to the trouble of returning given it was imported from the states.

Great film however it was sent from the USA with very poor packaging and was therefore damaged on arrival. The package consisted of a thin envelope. Very disappointed in Amazon USA.

Disc 2 doesn’t work on UK region players. Unclear in description and misleading.

Received my copy of criterion blue velvet. Really happy with it. Arrived in tip top condition too , thanks amazon 😊👍

US Label Criterion collection have done 100% Job reissuing Blue velvet on blu-ray againeven better than the 2010 reissue by MGMCriterion gave the film a new 4k HD transfer which looks amazing incredible No Grain no Dirt looks prestine 10/10the sound quality mix is the same thou 5.1 master mix plus 2.0 master mix option aswellEXTRAS, not only is all the extras carried over from the 2010 MGM blu-rayplus a new retrospective Documentary filmed just for this Criterion blu-ray which makes this reissueall this content on 1 Blu-ray Disc worth buying 100%, oh packaging is Foldout Digi-pack not plastic casenow being a Criterion reissue it's ofcourse region A locked so you need a region free playercause Australian blu-ray players are region B only the players sold from the common retailersbut if you a big fan and want it anyway, then theres 3 shipping optionsPriority express courier option which is most fastest 3-5 days to delivery from the USbut the cost is roughly $30AUD on top of the blu-ray priceor if your a amazon prime member than Expedited shipping option is free of charge for orders over $49 thouthe only catch with expedited shipping is the Depatch wait time is 24-48hrs just for 1 blu-ray to shipfrom the date you've placed the order which is Disgusting pure Laziness by amazon staff i thinkand theres 3rd ship option just plain standard shipping wait time is the longest from 10-15 work daysso your choice which option you want, if you have spare $30 to burn just on expres shipping then do thatanyway 5 stars for this criterion blu-ray no Doubt about it worth the cash buying

Bought this on the Dutch Amazon site, didn't watch it yet untill today (after the return date was expired) and apparently it doesn't work in Europe (and part of Asia, Australia, the middle east, etc). Great job to amazon to selling things that don't even work in the country from which the site I bought it from.
