Pull Out Kitchen Waste/Recycle Soft Close Bin for 600mm Cabinet - Front Fixing Cabinets (34L + 34L)

We used to have two bulky bins in the kitchen for recycling and normal waste. They were always awkward and the foot-pedal mechanism often broke. This pull-out bin solution solve both problems. It was easy to install with the cupboard door attached to it, so it all pulls out together. The mechanism is very smooth, with an excellent soft-close function. The bins are now located right where most of the waste is generated, which is great. The bins are big enough for two or three days of waste, before requiring emptying. We couldn’t be happier.

Very good bit of kit, easy enough to fit. Could do with a few more mm of adjustment on the door alignment, but forces you to measure very accurately, so perhaps no bad thing! Only real gripe, is that where the handles on each individual bin go through the plastic, they poke out just enough to tear the bin liner, as you take it out. Simple solution is to empty the bin more regularly, so the bin bag is less full, so it doesn't get pushed against these protrusions. Plastic "lid" could be a bit stronger. Use it as a shelf to put the bin liners on, and just their weight makes it sag. Apart from that very happy. Mine is fitted inside an ikea 600mm w base unit, and there is just enough clearance to miss the "lillviken" waste trap mounted under a "Hallviken" 1.5 bowl sink.

It’s a good product but judging by previous posts the mechanism to hold the door in place has been redesigned with cheaper materials. It’s the only flimsy part and installing the door is not the easiest off jobs. Once installed it is very smart and the soft close function is great. Cheaper than buying two new bins, so you could say it’s a bargain!

I am very pleased with these bins, as they provide a large volume of waste storage and allow your cupboard door to be fixed directly to the pull out unit, meaning as you open the door the bin also slide out. The soft close mechanism works well. A couple of things to note: - there is a fair bit of assembly and the instructions are poor. - there is virtually no adjustment in the mechanism that fixes the door to the pull out unit, so in my case I had to put packers in to allow the door to close properly (this may have been an issue with my kitchen).

Great service - delivered quickly - great quality product, much better than my original fitted bins, smoother sliding mechanism and frame to the bottom of the cupboard makes it much stronger, the bins are a fraction smaller but easier to empty / remove and replace also fitting was really simple and took about 15 mins.

I was so fed up of going out and in to my recycling bin that it was worth giving up a cabinet to incorporate this bin. It is a great product. The three compartments make it easy to divide up wet and dry waste with a larger bin for bigger pieces of cardboard. And my kitchen is back to being tidy again all of the time. It was relatively easy to fit, I did it myself with just a screwdriver and bradawl tool. My cabinet is 600mm wide but you get other sizes to fit small cabinets. Would highly recommend this product.

Was after a in the cupboard bin for a while but the price put me off was quoted a few hundred pound then i came a cross this one on Amazon. Came after a few days. fitting and installing was harder then expected took me and the husband a few hours to install but once fitted the use and function of this works fine. The size of the bins are great and fit a fair amount in. Quality of the bin is good.

My joiner fitted these and he said they were unnecessarily difficult to install. But now they’re in, they are great and working well.
