BallPark Style Butter Salt

Fantastic Popcorn Salt. Very fine and adds great taste!

Excellent

Flavor taste like movie popcorn.

This product is extremely salty... sprinkle it over your popcorn sparingly!! There are no instructions on how much to use.. I had to pop another batch and mix it 50-50 because it's so salty. The flavor was very good after I mixed in some plain popcorn.

The Amish Country Popcorn Ballpark ButterSalt is a 6 oz seasoning blend designed to give homemade popcorn that iconic movie theater taste. It’s old-fashioned, non-GMO, and gluten-free, making it a great choice for those who want a flavorful but simple seasoning. I tested it with freshly popped Amish Country popcorn to assess flavor, texture, and overall usability. Pros: ✅ Rich, buttery flavor replicates classic movie theater popcorn ✅ Finely ground salt sticks well to hot popcorn ✅ Non-GMO and gluten-free, making it accessible for most diets ✅ Versatile seasoning—great for fries, veggies, and other snacks ✅ Compact and convenient bottle for easy storage and use Cons: ❌ High salt content, so a little goes a long way ❌ Does not contain real butter, just butter flavoring ❌ Better adhesion when used with oil or melted butter Performance and Usability: This ButterSalt seasoning coats popcorn evenly, especially when added to hot, freshly popped kernels. It delivers a bold, buttery-salty taste, though using too much can make it overly salty. Since it doesn't contain real butter, pairing it with butter or oil enhances the flavor. The fine texture helps it distribute well, but dry popcorn may need a bit of moisture for the salt to adhere properly. Comparison: Compared to pre-packaged microwave popcorn, this offers better control over flavor and saltiness. It competes well with movie theater butter-flavored seasonings, like Kernel Season’s, but with a simpler ingredient list and no artificial colors. Who Is This For?: Perfect for popcorn lovers who enjoy classic buttered popcorn flavor but want more control over ingredients. Great for families, home movie nights, and those who prefer non-GMO, gluten-free seasonings. Conclusion: The Amish Country Popcorn Ballpark ButterSalt is a simple yet flavorful seasoning that brings the movie theater experience home. While it works best with oil or butter, it’s an excellent addition to any popcorn lover’s pantry.

Not much say is that it’s salty, buttery and good.

I bought this because I read that the ingredients were all natural and I'm trying to eat healthy popcorn. It tastes great, but it does contain yellow dye. Why? I don't care if it's yellow or not. It's the TASTE, stupid.

This does have the flavor of movie theater popcorn, It is not just salt flavor, as some complained. It is also very fine textured salt, so not too salty. We were having admission free Movie Night at church and wanted to offer free popcorn. We wanted it to taste like theater pop corn, but didn't want the grease, bother and expense of self serve butter to flavor all of the popcorn. Popcorn has no flavor without butter or some alternative. You need some flavor. We also wanted it to be healthy, so I wasn't interested in the palm or coconut oil saturated fat flavoring used in hot oil poppers, so I air popped it. I read the reviews, and some people said the salt settled at the bottom and leaked through the box. We had ordered the cute and sturdy Bekith stand-up folded boxes, an inch taller than quart containers, on Amazon, that each hold 4 cups of popcorn, and I didn't want the salt to settle to the bottom and leak through the cracks. To prevent that, I tried mixing the flavor in some avocado oil, and putting it in spray bottle. It didn't work - came out in heavy blotches. But what did work, was very lightly misting the popcorn with store bought avocado oil used for coating fry pans, as it was popping, and quickly following with a light shaking of the butter flavored salt. It was perfect. It stuck to the popcorn and gave it a nice yellow color (turmeric) and a light butter/salt flavor. Theater popcorn is often too salty for me. I made two huge white kitchen bags of it, which we warmed in the boxes in trays in the oven for 2 minutes at 250 before serving it. For those who wanted it, I kept small coffee cup warmer on the table and I poured a mix of 1/2 olive oil (omega 3) and 1/2 butter, which blends well and tastes like butter on for a few people who wanted it. You can't taste the olive oil, and is healthier. I sprayed and salted each batch 3 times and when done, mixed it up with a big spoon. It was great. I was surprised how little I used, considering I wasted quite a bit trying to mix it with avocado oil. I have enough left to host five more movie nights! The only thing I would change is the "maltodextrin", which is a food industry term to conceal anything that might be objectionable to buyers. First ingredient is salt - OK. Second is "maltodextrin" (what is the "Amish Country" maker using in their maltodextrin"?) Third ingredient is natural butter flavoring. I recommend this product, although it's a bit pricey, it goes long way. I still have 5/6 of the bottle left!

Cracking popcorn flavour

not sure it was good for popcorn - it does not have a distinct taste...but great as seasoning for chicken

A nice quality corns puff up well works well with my hot air popcorn maker. Popcorn is popcorn when it's popped it's the toppings that makes it i.e. butter, salt, sugar, honey, maple syrup ect ect ect

Useless product. Does not stick to popcorn whatsoever. You get your popcorn in a bowl, pour loads of this on and give the popcorn a good shake abd use your hands to mix aswell etc and you just end up with all the salt at the bottom of the bowl with none of it having stuck to the popcorn. I am unable to return this as when I try it says 'this item is not eligible for return.' Not happy.

Not a lot of butter favourite, salty
