can i use this to weld a roll cage into a rally car? serious question im trying to live out my dream

This welder will certainly work, in that it will join two pieces of tubing, but you may want to check the race association roll cage rules. I think some race associations require TIG. If so, this is NOT the welder for you.

Can this do flux core and plug into a standard 120 outlet?

Yes it welds with flux core wire. It plugs into a 120 volt outlet. It comes with both flux core wire and solid wire.

what other parts or supplies will i need

Supplies is what you need, the Lincoln Mig 140 comes with all the basic parts, and supplies to get you started welding, it comes with two spools of wire, one type of spool wire (0.25) that the MIG 140 comes with, requires the use of C-25 gas bottle from your local welding supply store. You can get started without the gas using the flux core wire that is supplied with the Lincoln MIG 140, Leather welding gloves, a good welding shield helmet protects and help's you better see your work, wire brushes, and welding shirt to help protect you.
