Its meant for every professional photographers who have very busy schedule and no time for first testing and then take a final shot.It will also help for amateur and beginner photographers but its better not to spend such a big amount on this device instead i will recommend to first learn the basics of photography like the exposure triangle, rule of thirs, etc. and then if your pocket allows then go for this amazing product to learn more professionally with multiple flash lights and studio setups.

J’utilise ce posemètre principalement en studio, et il m’a vraiment facilité la vie. La prise en main est rapide. Les réglages sont simples une fois qu’on a compris les options de base. J’ai dû lire la notice au début pour adapter les paramètres à mon boîtier, mais après ça tout devient fluide.La mesure en lumière incidente est très fiable. Les expositions sont plus équilibrées qu’en me fiant uniquement à la mesure interne de l’appareil. Je gagne du temps sur mes séances, surtout avec plusieurs sources de lumière. Moins d’essais, moins de corrections en post-production.Il est compact et léger, donc facile à transporter. La construction est en plastique, ce n’est pas le plus robuste, mais ça reste correct à l’usage.Le prix représente un investissement, mais pour moi c’est un outil indispensable dès qu’on veut un contrôle précis de la lumière.

I'm absolutely glad I bought this tool.Yes, it really is a tool... it makes setting up multiple lights a lot easier than without a light meter.Sure, trial-and-error works too, but it really takes a lot longer to make it perfect than with metering the light.I also bought the Lumidisc add-on, but haven't really used it so far, so maybe that is an unnecessary purchase. What I also ordered, via Amazon.com - as it is not available on Amazon.nl - is a silicone skin to protect the light meter. Ok, the customs fees and import taxes make it quite expensive, but it helps to protect the cheap plastic enclosure of the Sekonic Flashmate L-308X.I can totally recommend this tool to anyone who takes using studio strobes or speedlites seriously.

Das Gerät ist sehr leicht zu bedienen und scheint auch genau zu messen soweit ich das an den Ergebnissen meiner Fotos sehen kann. Die Bedienungsanleitung sollte aufjedenfall durchgelesen werden und schnell ist danach auch der Belichtungsmesser auf seine Bedürfnisse eingestellt. Das Display ist leicht abzulesen und die Beleuchtung lässt sich einfach zuschalten. Das Gehäuse besteht aus Hartplastik und macht trotz seines geringen Gewichts einen stabilen Eindruck. Die Tasten haben einen guten Druckpunkt und sind leicht zu erreichen. Die mitgelieferte, lange Halsschlaufe empfehle ich aufjedenfall anzulegen und zu benutzen. Sie ist lang genug um auch im angelegten Zustand seine Messpunkte zu erreichen und schützt das Gerät vor unbeabsichtigten Stürzen wie sie im Eifer des Gefechts mal vorkommen können. Die ebenfalls mitgelieferte Tasche schützt ausreichend vor Staub und Stößen wenn das Gerät mal nicht gebraucht wird.Ob der Preis von 200 Euro gerechtfertigt ist, sei dahingestellt. Ich hatte mich vor dem Kauf ausreichend im Netz umgeschaut und verglichen. Jedoch war dies das einzige Gerät welches von der Preisleistung am ehesten für mich in Frage kam. Für den Hobbyfotografen mit eigenen, kleinen Studio im Wohnzimmer aufjedenfall empfehlenswert.
