Good Grips Multi-Purpose Kitchen Shears and Herb Scissors

Let me make this very clear. These scissors have been absolutely amazing. My wife uses them for just about everything, and they cut through food, herbs, packaging, and cardboard like butter. One of the best features is that the blades come apart, making them much easier to clean thoroughly. That is especially useful when using them with food because you can clean between every surface instead of worrying about anything getting trapped near the hinge. They feel sturdy, stay sharp, and are comfortable to use. For the price, you really cannot go wrong with these. They are easily the best kitchen scissors we have ever owned.

Comfortable handles, sharp blades, and easily separates for cleaning. Light and easy to use even for weak hands with arthritis. Overall a great Kitchen shear.

Ok it's been a while since I wrote a review, but these are the best kitchen scissors ever. The tiny serrations are barely noticeable but they absolutely cut through everything. Like all OXO good grips products, the grip is freaking awesome, it's soft and textured and is even to hold even if your hands are slippery. The herb stripper is one of the coolest ideas ever and it makes stripping Rosemary so easy, I'm not sure about cilantro yet but I plan to try that soon, either way they blow the Farberware scissors from my old knife block they're replacing out of the water (which admittedly isn't hard to do). Highly recommend. I have a growing collection of OXO Good Grips stuff and I've been really happy with all of it so far. Their Salt and Pepper grinders are also super top notch. For 20 bucks, I don't think you can do any better, I checked out some of the larger brand's models and they seem less comfortable and no more durable for twice the money. I also like that the blades come apart, it makes them really easy to clean, I imagine easy to sharpen too, but with the serrations I doubt sharpening will be necessary any time soon (if ever). I'll be recommending these for a loooong time to come.

We broke our other set, and needed a replacement and these are perfect. We love that they fully come apart for deep cleaning and that they have the spice puller on them. They are super sharp and can cut through meat easily. If you’re in the market for a new pair of kitchen shears? I would definitely recommend that you get these.

The scissors are the best. They are rust resistant and easy to clean since they easily come apart to clean. They stay together very well during use and work great for cutting everything. I love having the holes for herbs. So simple to remove leaves from rosemary! I love that the blades are so long, they hang on knife magnet easily, so I always know where they are. They cut pastry dough accurately and straight. They are easy to use for cutting most everything actually. They are a great value for the money, and I would highly recommend them.

I had antique kitchen scissors which had just gotten too dull. These are a good replacement. The main thing I noticed my old scissors did that this one is not capable of, is lifting pull tabs up. These are just not quite pointed enough to do this task and get under the tight edge. Something my fingers need help with at least every other day. Yes I have trouble with these scissors coming apart when I open them up too wide. They are very sharp, sturdy and easy to use (right handed).

Best kitchen shears I've had. They cut, stay sharp and the design makes it clear how the blades go back together every time. Only downside is other household members keep "forgetting" to put them back in the drawer WHERE THEY BELONG.

Some scissors cut but these, oh no, they don’t just cut, they CUT. I mean they really CUT. It’s like they trained their whole life to be be the best cutty things in the world and you know what, they’ve done it. Way to go scissors, way to go. They have nice squishy handles too. Running with them is not recommended, ever.
