Would the 5qt be good for spaghetti?

Yes. I use it to boil spaghetti and have also made my sauce in it as well. It’s my favorite piece. The lid also fits my 10.5 inch Atlantis fry pan.

Can someone please give me an actual dimensions of 8.9 qt pot? No hanles, no lid.

The interior diameter is 9 3/8". The exterior diameter at the base is 9 1/2".

Is the bottoms forged on ( is there a seam) or is seamless?

There is no seam on the inside.

9.4 is the diameter and 4.7 is the height. I don't know what the 8.7 refers to.This is a fabulous piece of cookware, and beautiful too. I love it every time I cook with it!
