These bulbs are fantastic! Much brighter than the fluorescent bulbs I replaced. Follow the instructions for removing the fixtures ballast and re-wire per the diagram on the bulb. These bulbs are a "B" type so the ballast has to be removed. The diagram for wiring is also shown in the pictures of the bulb description on the Amazon page. Easy to do if you have common 120V wiring knowledge.

I finally had enough of the florescent tube era. It is over and these LED lamps are very easy to replace those lamps. They arrive in a box with each lamp in a special foam cradle that held them securely and safely. No damage to any of the lamps. I thoroughly enjoyed pulling those Ballasts out of the fixtures. Between the leaking, flickering, erratic operation, I have had enough. Also enjoyed taking all of the florescent tubes and all of the ballasts to the hazardous waste area of the dump. The wiring changes in the fixtures were quick and the new LED lamps very bright and they all worked. Nothing else to buy. Used existing wiring and tombstones. The biggest problem I had was holding my arms above my head for long periods to change them out. I also wish I had made the decision earlier to do the job. It's been over a year now and they are functioning like I did it yesterday.

Ordered the 20 pack in 4K. Just a shade whiter than fluorescents but not blue. About the same brightness as brand new tubes but the whiter light seems brighter. Not a bad bulb in the bunch. Did the single end, no ballast conversion. Happy to get rid of the humming and flickering old tech. Hope they last now.Edit: I can know speak somewhat on longevity of these tubes. I bought the first 20 a year and a half ago to install in my garage. At the time I did 5 of the 7 four bulb fixtures. They have been trouble free with no failures. In the same time period, two of the eight remaining fluorescent tubes have failed. They have been used normally for a garage, frequent ons and offs, mostly for short periods but longer when I’m working on something or cleaning cars and bikes. I just bought another twenty to finish the garage fixtures and replace the tubes in my basement. You can tell that the older tubes have lost a little brightness but not much, I’d guess less than 10 percent. Either that or the new tubes are simply brighter. Obviously happy with these or would have tried something else.

Started converting the 1st floor of my shop with a box of 4000Kelvin, 2200 Lumen bulbs. This was replacing TL741 Philips bulbs which are 4100Kelvin and about 2600 Lumens. I find these a tiny bit hotter in the temp color and absolutely outstanding in the brightness department. WOW! These LEDs don't blow light out to the back of the fixture like florescents do, so all 2200 Lumens go where they need to be... and at about half the power draw!! As to the conversion process, it is nice to ditch the ballast. The first fixture took about 40 minutes to do, just to get familiar with it and make sure I had it right. The rest of the fixtures are less than 10 minutes on the bench. Easy-Peasy once you prototype the first one. I ordered a pile more. 29 more fixtures to go... Highly recommend these if you can handle the conversion to eliminate the ballast. Parmida's site has complete instructions on it. Should be no problem if you can read, are a bit handy, take your time with the first one, and fully test it.... A couple of afterthoughts - 1. I timed one fixture conversion. 6 minutes, 10 seconds on the bench. 2. These new LEDs run MUCH cooler than the old flourescents. Good thing if you are sitting on the hottest day of the year so far, like I am today where I live.

super easy to install and good light at great price. Don't know about how the company is to work with if any go bad or how they take care of customers but for now I am pleased

I have installed 18 of the 20 bulbs and all are working perfectly. These are the 4000K, frosted, ballast-bypass bulbs. Removing the ballasts is not a bad job if you are experienced with electrical wiring. I installed the 18 bulbs in 5 different fixtures. All of the bulbs are consistently bright and steady, and the light output appears to be the 2200 lumens stated (judging by comparing to the light output of the bulbs I replaced, not a scientific measurement.) The packaging is excellent, and 10 labels were included to stick on the fixtures which warn that the fixture has been modified. As I am writing this review, I have had some of the bulbs installed for about 10 days, and all is going well. These bulbs are silent, and turn on immediately when I flip the switch. The 4000K bulbs are perfect for the rooms where I have installed them, and I will be buying the same Parmida brand in a 3000K bulb for a different room where we want the warmer light color. I am very pleased!

I just installed 96 of these, replacing common 32-watt fluorescent T8’s.My sockets were shunted, so I powered both ends (110v removed ballast) -- a fairly simple conversion for anyone with basic electrical skills.Since the fluorescents were advertised as having 2600-lumens, I was concerned that these new LED’s might not be as bright; but they actually seemed a little brighter.So there’s more light at half the energy, ballast eliminated, no flicker, instant on, good cold temperature performance, and longer life -- what’s not to like?

I ordered 30 pack of EnVision and 20 pack of Parmida tubes because I only needed 46 tubes. I should have ordered all Envision.Out of 30 Envision, I had 2 bad tubes. Out of 20 Parmida, about 1/3 of them flickered. Worse, all of them were way darker than EnVision which was also rated 2,200 lumens. Parmida was rated 2,200 lumens. No way. Parmida was darker than the fluorescent tubes they were suppose to replace. I also had a Feit tube from Costco that was rate 1,700 lumens. We decided to use that one to replace a flickering Parmida tube. The difference in brightness was noticeable -- Feit was way brighter than Parmida. After spending about 1 hour replacing 20 fluorescent tubes with Parmida (not easy with 14 feet ceiling with fixtures on the way), I decided to bite the bullet, put the fluorescent tubes back, return Parmida tubes or order EnVision tubes. I did not want to make co-workers to work in the darker environment. Terrible product. Brightness is not even close to fluorescent, Envision or Feit. Also bad quality control product as shown by about 1/3 of the tubes flickering. I am returning Parmida tubes and ordering Envision.Sorry I did not take comparison pictures. At this stage, I decide it is not worth it.
