I'm very happy with the product. It works (I used this product along with AquaDoc Pond Barley Extract.) It clears the tree branches and leafs compose faster, water looks clearer and it make the pond smells better too. Before using this product, just by walking near the pond, I can smell the pond, like fish's smell but after a week of using this Pond MICROBE-LIFT 10XSSCX1 Spring and Summer Pond and Outdoor Water Garden Cleaner, no more bad smell, I even get my hands in the water to smell it after it dried out, nothing bad just smell as regular water. I have a few kinds of fish in the 3.5 acres pond, some grass-carps are as old as over 15 years old, a group of over 10 deer including mamas and adorable fawns - deer babies, red foxes, raccoons, opossums, birds, squirrels, wild bunnies, groundhogs, dragonflies, bugs, bees and other wildlife come to drink at the pond every day, including my pets dogs and cats at times (even though they have their own clean water bowls). So, I want to make sure anything I use are natural and safe for them as well. So far it's excellent. Thank you.

I add the recommended amount twice over two week period in spring and it not only makes the water sparkling clear but somehow remove algae from all rocks and surfaces of my koi pond. I don’t have to add anymore throughout the summer. I no longer need to add harmful algae removing chemicals. This is now my go to for keeping the koi pond beautiful and healthy!

This stuff worked great on my pond. I did not see results until the second week application. You have to be sure to put it in the same day each week. I am so impressed as I have tried many bacteria pond cleaners. The winter is always hard to come back from with the over growth of algae. When I cleaned up the water by changing out 3/4 of the water, it still looked murky. I then tried this after trying two other products prior this one. This is by far the best one yet. I know different products work differently on other ponds, but I'm really glad it worked on mine.

I started using MicrobeLift’s cellulose enzyme packets as part of the autumn and winter care kit in my koi pond. I was so impressed by how clear they kept the water that I tried using Spring/Summer Cleaner during the warm months, alongside MicrobeLife PL. Wow, it makes my water sparkle! These enzymes won’t get rid of algae, but they do digest the small particles of dead algae from my UV clarifier and help further clarify the water. They also rapidly break down fish waste, so it’s mostly gone within a couple of days. It even helped quickly eliminate foaming after a spawn. Unlike other MicrobeLift products, these packets have no odor. Instead of dropping them in, I prefer to hold them in the stream of water from my filter inlet and let the packets dissolve open and the contents circulate, then I discard the melting packet “wrapper.”

Microbe-Lift has been in my pond since Day 1, that was over 20 years ago! Spring/Summer Cleaner application is just ONE tool of a few that any pond owner should use throughout the year. IMO, Microbe-Lift’s Sludge Away, Barley Extract, PL Beneficial Bacteria and AlgAway 5.4 should be at everyone’s pondside; along with a quality Water Chemical Test Kit. The only deviation of that list is sometimes I use API Algae Treatment… just to save a few bucks, and I know it works great too.

I dropped it in my pond and it began working right away. After three weeks I am now able to put my fish in the pond that in the past it took lots longer. Yeah!!!

I have been using this product for years. Helps kick start the pond in early spring. No measuring, I toss 2 packets into the pond and it's that easy. Great price

The bags were torn upon delivery. Now I'm guessing the amount to put in the pond. So far I haven't seen any significant improvements in the water either.
