Easy install and good price. Fit my husband’s dodge 07 well. We’ve been having heavy rain and it’s been keeping the water out. Looks just like the manufacturer piece.

Had a severe leak in my truck around the third brake light. Went to dealer to buy gasket . To my surprise was told I ha d to buy whole light. Found this gasket works perfectly, no more leak. Nice quality !

This does and will work fine, however you have to know going into this you should expect a good 30 to 60 minutes depending on your skill level removing the OEM gasket first. The OEM gasket is technically permanently installed on your brake light. That is why the dealership does not sell just a gasket they will sell you a new brake light that has the gasket on it for about $90. I used a razorblade to scrap off most of the OEM and happen to have some Goo B Gone in the garage. Together with a lot of scrubbing I got all the OEM gasket off. Putting this new one on is fairly easy, just peel and stick. I was carful so I did not try to move it once it was stuck. I'm not sure you can so make sure it is where you want it before you let it touch the brake light. My truck was leaking every time it rained or I went through a car wash, always ended up with a large puddle under my rear seats. After this no more leaking!

Perfect fit

My 2010 Dodge Ram was getting significant amounts of water in the back seat when I went through the car wash. After a little research, I found that the 3rd brake light, which is in the center top of the cab is a common leak point. I removed the light and found that the gasket was completely rotten. I changed it and the leaks stopped. If your Dodge Ram has water leaks, this is a quick, easy, inexpensive thing to change before paying a shop hundreds of dollars for a leak test. This gasket worked perfectly and was easy to install. It was also inexpensive. Do make sure and clean all the old gasket material off. There will be a lot of residue if yours is as rotten as mine was.

Perfect fit. Sticks to the backing of the light housing. No more water in the cabin from the light. And no more coming out after rain to find my rear cabin light on. Obviously clean the housing before replacing or your seal is not going to work.

Much thicker than stock factory gasket

Good quality gasket, would probably give 5 stars but reduced to 4 because it was just not quite the perfect fit as promoted for my model year. Generally it covered the lamp area but the stamped out areas weren't quite accurate..I had to fine tune it a half-hour or so with exactoknife to fit properly. I will update review as to how it holds out for rainy season!
