Review: Consistent, fast, but not as fast as expected - Putting this card through its paces I’ve found the following: This card is genuine, and reports its proper size (specifically 128,020,905,984 bytes). It isn’t playing any tricks to inflate its perceived capacity Speeds were a little disappointing. Fresh out of the box, on my Mac, using a known good CFast card reader, I was seeing: - A read speed of 379.30 MB/s - A write speed of 250.20 MB/s While these speeds were significantly lower than the advertised read/write speeds of 540MB/s and 520MB/s respectively, they were surprisingly consistent. I.e. while writing data to fill the entire drive, and reading it back, I saw virtually no change in speeds; I normally expect flash media to slow down as it fills up. The speeds were baffling me a bit, so I repeated the test after reformatting the card several times. The speeds were unchanged by format, or by the device I was using (I tried with a Mac, a Windows PC, and a Linux machine). So, altogether, the speeds are very consistent, so it seems there won’t be any unexpected slowdowns as the card fills up, but the speeds are about half of what was promised
