Throw so far and light weight
I didn't expect to throw so long with this rod is able to handle 4onz lures so easily.. I really recommend it I fish at Guatemala for Jack's and roosterfish and for the prize works so good.... I own 12ft.. It only came with this scratch even they send it really well protected..

Broken rod
One cast rod! That’s all I got; it broke.

Heavy, No Super- Long Casts
Have used with the recommended Shimano Reel as part of their advertised "Long Cast" System. This Rod together with that reel are a heavy, uncomfortable combination that casts no better than my 1970's standard fiberglass rods combined with Penn SS Reels.

It's the best surf rod I ever own. I also use it for lake fishing and it does cast FAR!!

Weak,weak rod.
You pay $300 for garbage.First rod broke the tip 4 times each tip costed me $10 then it broke 2 feet from the tip.Mailed to Irvine CA,waited 6 month got the new one.Went fishing and on the third time it broke in the middle. Never used a lure heavier than 2 oz.Two days ago I mailed this one to to Irvine CA,let's see what happens.
