Purchased these at the end of June, installed upon arrival and my first bulb burned out beginning of November, so i got 4 months out of 1 bulb. I keep my UV filter on 24/7. Overall I feel like it was worth the cost. Great product!

purchased your 130GPH 5W UV sterilized in December of 2018 and it worked great. My tank was so green you couldn't see the fish. It took a week or so, but no complaints. Recently the bulb burnt out and before I realized it the water started to turn green. No worries, I purchased this replacement bulb and it's been working for 6 days now and there have been zero improvements??? Took over a week to clear but finally! Wondering if replacement bulb not as powerful as original?

My Remington 360 air purifier needed the UV light replaced the OEM bulb was $40. Then I found this UV bulb it didn't say it was for my air purifier but it did look identical so I thought I'd give it a try and sure enough it fits it's identical and it works perfect I'm very pleased I think I'll buy a few more for backups.

I’ve used the replacement bulb for my COODIA UV filter, and overall it does what it’s supposed to do—but with some trade-offs. The biggest pro is that it’s very effective at clearing green water and controlling algae. Within a few days, you can notice a visible difference, and it helps keep the water clear when the system is running properly. Installation is also straightforward, and the bulb fits well in compatible units. Many users report similar strong algae-control performance with these UV bulbs. However, the biggest downside is the poor longevity. The bulb doesn’t seem to last as long as expected and may need to be replaced more frequently than you’d like. While UV bulbs in general require periodic replacement (often every 6–12 months), this one feels like it loses effectiveness sooner. Overall, it’s effective but not very durable—good at doing the job short-term, but don’t expect it to last as long as higher-quality alternatives. Update 4/17/2026: the second bulb went out yesterday, making this item a very unreliable product.

These last about 3 months, having purchased 4 over the past 6 months. 2 as spares.

Bulbs only last two month and that is very bad.
